And rightly so... there's nothing a child needs from a man's body after fertilization, so it would be very odd to see how it could be reversed. You read the story how the child's mother could not produce enough milk, and how he vomited after drinking cow milk.

Not in all cases, and sometimes not enough, and in a few cases, the child refuses (or can't latch on) to the mother's nipples (size may be too big, or even too small). That's why we've always had wet nurses throughout history in all parts of the world.
