My question is, am I going to do TMA for thesis work?

Glad to let you know that Tma 1 is out and will close by March 21st meaning you have 13 days to do it. So the earlier, the better. No time to waste time.


As usual, Tma amounts to 30 marks of your score. If you do well in Tma, you have increase your chances of doing well in exam. So take it serious.

Let me explain it to you.

Tma means Tutor Marked Assignment. It serves as your CA and it carries 30 marks.

It is objective questions having four options.


You have Tma 1 to all your courses for a certain period (14 days) within which you must do it else you miss it. For instance, the Tma 1 that is out now is available between 8th to 21st March so you must do it within that time else you miss it.

1. Launch your web browser (e.g Google Chrome)


2. Type this address in the address bar www.nouonline.net


3. Click on "student login"


4. Follow step A and B below⬇

A. Input your matric number

No u dont need to do TMA . Meanwhile u are not suppose to register it as an exam to start with. you only give them free money.

The National President, of the Congress Of NOUN Students, Mr Tijani Adewoyin, has called on all NOUN Students to desist from buying and selling of Tutor marked Assignment, TMA Solutions.

Mr Tijani, who issued the statement through his S.A on media and publicity, Miss Amadi Stella. further stated that despite the effort of the school management to put a stop to the illicit and illegal act, some set of people claiming to be NOUN students are still moving around most especially on social media with TMA solutions trading.


He argued that those involved in the said business are not truly NOUN students " NOUN students are known are as a responsible people because it takes a lot of sacrifices to study in NOUN, National open university of Nigeria is not a University for lazy People and if we look at it very well, we will all see that those involved in the business are lazy People trying to initiate students" he said.


He gives Kudos to NOUN management for their well done job and also pledged and promised as President of Congress of NOUN students to enjoin hand with the management to raise war against any form of illicit act that can tarnish or damage the good name of the university that has been built by the management and also pleaded to NOUN management to always treat her students complains as a matter of urgency, finding a lasting solution to the challenges facing them.

Please can someone kindly answer these questions below because some of us don't even have the resources to be in Abuja to pick up the certificate not talk of attend the ceremony.

So I ask;

If one strenuously makes it to the ceremony, is there an assurance that the Statement of Result or/and Certificate will be issue?

Is there an arrangement to conveniently pick at your local study center ? and how soon can it be available for pick up?

I heard they issue the certificates at the aforementioned ceremony, how true is that?

Please I can't go to Abuja for the convocation so I won't need to pay for gown... Is it possible I get from someone just to take pictures or is there anywhere to rent so I can just take pictures.. Please help Msc convocation gown

It will be too crowded so it's not possible you all will get your certificate that very day.. You can go anytime to get your certificate as long as you have your clearance with you ND also your ID card..................................
