Igbo hatred for Tinubu is because he cannot be bought by them. They cannot claim they made him who he is. Tinubu does not need their money. Unlike Agbaje who has gone into unholy alliance with IPOB.

What a lot of kids on this forum fail to understand is that the ibos r from a republican background. One man can not declare a thing and expect the rest to fall into line without reasons on how it will benefit all. It is easier for the Hausa & Yorubas to usually toe the line of a fellow man like them without reason, but not d Ibo who is successful because of his individuality. There is an Ibo adage, “Igbo enwe eze maka na eze bu ilo” which sums up why the average Ibo man will not trust anyone who has dreams to rule. U only have one ruler and the ruled. Rather than make threats and silly statements like this, u should be telling them why supporting ur candidate will benefit them in the long and short term! O’toge oooo!!!

What prevents other Nigerians from Other parts from Nigeria from doing the same ? Abi you can bow to an itshekiri woman but still stiff scared of an Igbo or Hausa man ?
We are happy to have Tinubu from Osun we happy to have his wife from itshekiri. This are yoruba empires. Not You and Your Unreasonable lots.

You are a very enlightened person. I applaud you for that cos I know all the people you mentioned. As a matter of fact activism has been the hobby of the Yorubas to the extent that Fela's music was more for activism and addressing societal ills and we know how he suffered for it like the other activists. NANS was formidable and a tough Apex student union body when the Yorubas were holding key positions until one Anambra guy in UNN took over.

Having applauded your intelligence, would you mind telling me why any Nigerian cannot vote a candidate of their choice irrespective of their religious or ethnic leaning? Please be candid and be objective.
It's not only the Igbo that live outside of their region in Nigeria. Yoruba lives in the north and south, Hausa lives here and there, likewise the Igbo. But where ever we live, we respect our host. You have got to respect my values if you live with me. The Igbo shows a lot of disrespect especially on this Nairaland.

Let them vote whoever they want to. At the end of the day, they will still do what they have been cursed to do - WAIL, ENVY AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, BLAME YORUBAS FOR THEIR MISERABLE LIVES.

They are the most confused set of humans in the world. All they know is hatred and envy which their useless forefathers fed them while growing up. The same people that wanted to kill themselves over 2 fulani Presidential candidate. Same people are still foolis.hly gloating over two yoruba governorship candidates. They will abandon their cursed region and come to other developing regions to try to ruin the efforts. Failure is what they always want.

These confused people will still insult agbaje if he wins . Sanwoolu will become governor of Lagos and I hope the people of Lagos will learn to put these hateful MF where they belong. The boundary must be set.

Frustrations has finished this one...Sanwo-Olu,Ambode,Tinubu Jimi Agabje, who do you have access to??...None.

Anyone of them can be the Governor but Igbos in Lagos will vote Agbaje or anyone else whether they win or not..

Meanwhile all you lots are left with aftet the elctions is shouting "owo mida" after buses at Oshodi and everywhere else in Lagos..

The next scenario is the dis-integration of this failed country which many of us support...Till then frustrations, hardship and poverty will keep doing you all in as you chase after tinubu, picking up the crumbs that falls from his table

The C of O these ibos have is a lease agreement with Lagos state for 99 years. This means, they can occupy the land for 99 years after which they have to pay again to continue their lease agreement. Although the governor can revoke this C of O at anytime based on discretion. Should this happen, they would be compensated. Only Lagosians and some other yorubas have family lands and houses in Lagos. If an ibo buys, it turns to a lease agreement.

This boastful lots are just something else. After this election, corrections would be made.

Even their "99%" population in festac is not helping rita orji and that's something. Their population in lagos is a myth

Political sophistication that is not translated to world class status. Tell me what advantage the average man from ss,sw n north receives from being politically sophisticated over the average Igbo man? Nigeria politics is one of barbarians, and being sophisticated only means being a barbarian. Tell me what good the sophisticated leaders n masses of other regions enjoy that could be compared with developed countries? Tell me: is it technology n science, jobs, healthcare, infrastructure, e.t.c?

Political sophistication (ie RIGGING).

In a free and fair election, a majority vote from any single region can turn the tides in favour of those being voted for.

I think giving them appointments in his government. I think the guy is on same page with tinubus wife.
The irony is that Hausa/fulani has population that double ibos in lagos, but you will never see them misbehaving.
Few days ago I, was listening to classic FM jingles that one igbo support forum sponsored, urging all igbos to come out enmass to vote for someone else who will support their dreams in lagos and not someone who will frustrate their efforts. I was like, this is not necessary, because it will always hit up polity. Hausa community will never do that.
Why can't you go out and vote of your choice without over stepping boundary? Oh I forgot, lagos is no mans land, continue with that... Ok.
Abeg, how many hausa people have houses in Lagos. See, i am not talking about Dangote and those calibres but middle class/level Nigerians.
Eg, all my relatives in Lagos have properties in Lagos. The most offensive to me is that one of my relatives who lives in the east and does business in the east with no intention of leaving the east was deceived or should i say confused to go and buy a property in Lagos. I am so mad but i can't force them.
Owning property in a place guarantees you a say in that locality.
Buy a good property in the UK or US and you are closer to getting your residency and permit.

Again I say to you: does my wanting to vote for a candidate 'I think' wants my well-being/progress make me condescending (looking down) to Yorubas?

Are you suggesting that like minded Yorubas (especially non Lagosians) who refuse to accept the autocratic rule of the ruling party are also condescending?

I walked to my polling unit, casted my vote and left, peacefully. This act was mimicked by every single Igbo person exhibiting their civic right at my PU.

The truth is, there are people who feel threatened by the significance of the Igbo vote.

If not for the greediness of the useless Azikiwe. Every tribe in Nigeria would have been about their own business many years back. I'm glad his greediness caused him pain and agony in the death of over 3 million of his kindreds.

When Awolowo insisted on secession clause in the independence term, guess who rejected it bluntly all because he wanted Lagos to himself and his family. All the curses your kindreds have been hurling on innocent man Lord Lugard and his wife be unto Nnamdi Azikiwe and may he never know peace wherever he is for the attrocity he commited. We were never forced to live together, and terms and conditions were accepted from every major tribes before we were brought together. Buh greedy man Azikiwe won't accept seccesson clause in our terms because he has the Northern backing which autmatically means 2 against 1 which gave them the edge. I repeat again, may peace be far away from him and his generation living. Such a useless greedy man.

Unfortunately for you yorubas..the secession you all dread will definetly happen sooner than later whether you like it or not
