You only upload Other Documents online... https://www.uni-assist.de/en/how-to-apply/assemble-your-documents/other-documents/

But you send through post only Certified Educational Certificates...
https://www.uni-assist.de/en/how-to-apply/assemble-your-documents/educational-certificates/

Thanks.
Are you saying I should upload only documents in the other category? meaning I should not upload soft copy of certificate ?

I saw different categories like CV, language cert, study cert, school cert, motivation letter etc. I thought I was meant to upload documents in those categories?

Please I need help and suggestions, I tried booking appointment for a short stay visa to attend a conference in Germany, but the only available date is 8/05/2019 which is very close to my planed date of departure, the conference is from 21-23 and my hotel is already booked from 20th. So I intend leaving Nigeria on the 9th.

I heard it usually take 14days to grant the short stay visa. How do I handle this plus?

I don't advise you use EMS if you are racing against time. It is even better to use NIPOST than EMS.
You may want to still consider DHL or FedEx though.

Bro, the parcel is within Nigeria(Enugu-Lagos).Is it safe? I want to use the package for Application in April.

[quote author=lavicollins post=76495819]Please House, enlighten me (A novice) on these issues. Having graduated with a degree from OAU, can I study in Germany without writing an English proficiency test like IELTS? Are there alternatives to study or bypass the blocked account which is about €8700. Your responses will be highly appreciated. [/quote

Depend on the school requirement, not all the schools request for ielts.

Secondly, you can only bypass the €8640 if you have a scholarship or a sponsor who has a residents permit and work in Germany.

Please which other person did interview on the 31th of January here.
I have waited endlessly for A.M to arrive. I funded long before the interview.
I contacted the foreign office in Weingarten, which is city am heading to. They keep saying they have not received my application by post or electronically . I emailed the embassy to notify them, but as usual no replies. I called customer care, as expected no good response. She was just saying send mail(that never get replied). Infact the foreign office have now contacted the embassy themselves to send the application. Any useful advice will be appreciated as my enrollment deadline is sooo close.
I'm sure the embassy has seen your email and your documents will be sent out soon to your alien office. I'm in the same situation, had my interview on Dec 11. It was only after series of emails and calls to both the embassy and alien office was my application attented to. Still waiting for Am. Just don't relent in prayers.

I think you can use NIPOST since it's in April you will be making use of the documents.
Using EMS is a waste of money as the documents will likely take the same amount of time as NIPOST delivery.
I use NIPOST in posting all my documents whether locally or glabally.
Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 6 by imoriafe: 8:31pm On Mar 09, 2019
Some schools even exempt Nigeria from English proficiency.. Even some don't even need references letters or motivation letter.. Just ur academic doc n app form..

Yes you can study ln Germany without the professional English exams .. just go to the senate third floor and request for an English proficiency letter, doesn’t cost much .. No short cut to heaven Oo concerning the block account except you have someone legit in Germany who’s ready to give you SL( sponsorship letter ) in lieu of the block account .. without that na to hustle get the money for the block account .. Of the greatest Gbagba..

Everconcious gbogbo. Thanks bro for the info. Are you in Germany already? Most of the schools I saw runs their application between Dec through February. Kindly suggest Schools that are on at the moment

First, you need to know that it takes the embassy between 4-6 weeks for visa processing. If you have sent numerous Emails to them before the end of this period, your Email address might have been flagged as spam which will cause all your Emails to be directed to spam and not their inbox. I would say use another Email address, screen shot the allien office response and attach it to the mail asking for the status of your application quoting your information entirely including your visa application number if you have it and other necessary info that can allow them to locate your file and send it to them around 6am in the morning of a working day. Then cross your finger and be hopeful. It might be an oversight by the Embassy because Sometimes they do send someone's file to a different allien office by mistake while the person will be waiting for AM here. Shalom

Boss, the stuff cost. I dey request for hardcopy prove of English proficiency from school. The DHL shipping from East to West here na 10k(the proficiency letter cost is inclusive). But for EMS the charge is (7K5h).

NB:I still have a month to make use of it. Can you estimate the time of delivery for EMS from Enugu to Lagos?

EMS should be around 5 working days,

For DHL, ask for their student package.

Hello Gentlemen and Ladies,

So I've been reading and started my application to an extent.

I have two courses TUM I'm putting in for.

1. Sustainable Resource Management
2. Management.

Both are masters.

Winter semester.

I have few questions as the heat of the application is on, deadlines to meet and essays to write I hope I'm not late.

1. This scratch card for checking result to be sent, mist it be the hard copy card, can I just buy the pin online and send on a printed sheet attached with the notorized copy of the original result?

2. I have my 8640Euro set, however are there some expenses I have not factored? Just this evening the issue of accommodation just came into mind, please how do I go about this any advice?

3. Please are there people forwarding results to Uni Assist so we can package it together via DHL to avoid stories and reduce cost?

I still have more questions, I hope to get answers to them even as I read. However I'll have to ask here...

Thanks in anticipation of your swift response...

@justwise. Keep up the good work...

Unless stated by the schools you are applying to, but it's better you do something standard and normal ie 11 or 12 font size. But for the embassy it should be handwritten, so take note of the difference.

As for the CV, guess you are referring to the EU format, ie the one with your picture. If so, you are good to go with that, unless stated otherwise.

Please try and read pages from part 5 at least, it's to the best of your interest.

I haven't seen that happen in a while. Embassy clearly stated in their website that what they accept is your admission letter, a scanned copy is enough to book for appointment.

You have to live up to that name of yours if you are really ready to embark on this journey. Invest your time in the search, read pages from part five at least for resourceful information that will enhance your application and save you lots of cost, except you don't mind making terrible mistakes and losing money as well. Almost everything you need to know is domiciled here.

For the search use daad.de and also google as well. Also look out for related courses and apply as much as possible so that you won't limit your chances.

Why the two if I may ask, and why only TUM? The reports we have gotten from schools in bavaria seems not quite cool anyway. I would suggest you check out for other courses that catch your interest, if possible look out for related courses as well. But make sure you check the application process very well to see if it suits you.

For the scratch card, anyone you get is ok, as long as its valid to check the results. But note it must be printed, and please don't attach it to the copy you are meant to submit. Just have it on you.

Every study related expenses you are required to make for the whole year is being captured in that 8640 of which accommodation is inclusive, however take note you have to pay for Nigeria bank charges and your block account handling cost. So you should be funding with 8829 euros or a little more depending on the bank you intend to use. But while traveling, make sure you have with you at least a sum of about €1000 to enable you sort out other relevant expenses before you unblock and also your caution fees if you have need to secure accommodation especially when its very difficult to find one.

As per uniassist, some persons here are already putting their applications together to forward to unassist to reduce cost, so read to find out who they are and contact them. You have to locate them and not them coming to you.

As regards other questions of yours, feel free to ask them here but make sure you ask reasonable questions. Kindly read pages from part five at least to learn more about the process. We encourage active participation so we await to see your contributions to other people who are also new, just as we are doing to you now.

Remove every entitlement mentality and don't expect we spoon feed you. You see say na my church mind I carry answer you this questions with details even though you go say you no force me, laughs. But plz be polite, humble and be resourceful to others here with your contributions.

One love.
