I don't think you are compromised. though the exposure of our society to the LGBT community and the illusion that it is a scientifically accepted status, have surreptitiously affected the minds of many to accept it as approved sexual spectrum, and this though without their conscious, ethical approval to it. I can appreciate the beauty and grace of another female with no sexual connotations. You can compliment someone without questioning your sexually. If your sole concern is being viewed as “gay” because you look at someone of the same sex and see a fine specimen then you have deeper issues than you realise.
