I didn't say that.

What I meant was Kwankwaso failed to deliver Kano during the presidential election was because Buhari has more influence than him in Kano.

buhari has more influence than thief atiku in 19 northern State, but that does not prevent thief atiku from winning adamawa and plateau even with apc governors , and winning in taraba and benue with the help of pdp governors there.
kwankwaso could not even get kano pdp delegate in their primary election against thief atiku and thief saraki,
even tambuwal is more popular than kwankwaso in north.

Its clear you didnt follow osun polls nor taken part in election duties.have you asked how oshiomhole and ortom won their polling units flawlessly

Bro, we're not talking about one or 5 or even 10 polling units. We're talking about 100 polling units scattered in 21 local government areas. Ganduje can pull that stunt in some polling units but remember that some of those LGs will be Kwankwaso's stronghold, and he will also record such flawless victory. Ganduje will likely win more votes than PDP in the rerun but to upturn that 26k is not likely.

Nigeria hasn't gotten to where Brazil is.

Brazil is a high middle income country which a much larger middle class that are much alert to their rights.

This is still absent in Nigeria.

It was a poorly educated lot that re-elected Buhari. Most well educated plunked for Atiku. The country is unready to fight corruption.

Give Nigeria 10 years of growth rates of 8-10% and you'll see much richer citizenry standing up to the corrupt with vigour at the end of the decade.

And what will warrant the 8-10% growth? By allowing the supposed 'educated' lot elect a leader who has been accused of high scale corruption, both by the locals and the elites, both at home and abroad?

Whatever story you like to feed yourself to explain why your choice was rejected by All Nigerians, it's your own creative imagination. But don't come online to play the divide and justify card. Because considering the choice of the 'educated' lot clearly lost in the most educated region, one must question the point you're trying to make. Better still, we should even question whether you fall into that "educated lot" yourself.

have started changing their tune.
It is a shame that about 50% of Kano electorates voted for a shameless thief.

How many governors in Nigeria do not do what he did? How many civil servants don't do what he did. Stop being hypocritical. Most of you even supported Atiku. You should be fighting for a complete overhaul of how government is run in Nigeria and not attack a gentle man that was outplayed by his former boss. Ganduje has tried in Kano. Nobody can deny this fact. Even during this recession, not once did he owe workers salaries. He maintain roads, built flyovers, constructed roads in many rural places like Wudil. The man has tried and God will reward his efforts in this rerun. Sai Gandun Aiki

See elections are just like having sex. Once you have expelled your load, you are exhausted. How many Atiku supporters voted in the governorship elections. Their energy is already flaccid. Who is going to follow ballot box again. Do you know how many police and military men are going to be in kano? Only if people are truly ready. To die for kwankwaso. Kai naija is a funny country

INEC Chief Returning Officer Professor BB Shehu just declare di 9 March Govnorship Election for Kano State Inconclusive.

https://www.bbc.com/pidgin/live/tori-47468810

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the results of last Saturday’s gubernatorial election held in Kano state as inconclusive.

The INEC’s Returning Officer in the state disclosed this on Monday night at the INEC head office in the state.

According to him, Abba Kabir Yusuf of the PDP has already polled 1,014,474 votes just as the incumbent state governor and candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Umar Ganduje got 987,819 votes.

He added that the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) came third and polled 104,009 votes.

https://www.dailytrust.com.ng/breaking-inec-declares-kano-governorship-election-inconclusive.html

*** Margin between PDP vs APC = 26,665
*** Cancelled Votes = 141,694
*** Election to hold in 21 LGA involving over 100 polling units
. If 141 0000 votes are cancelled rerun is justified as contained in electoral law. The margin of winning is less than the margin of cancellation.

The gap is certainly surmountable, but I think it would be very hard for APC to achieve this.

I leave the people of Kano to determine their own fate.

While Ganduje should be ready to visit EFCC the moment his Immunity expires.

The Efcc that is still not aware of any corrupt activities of ganduje? The technology used in making d video is still being studied rather than the petition. grin

stop over rating kwakwanso abeg. Even shekarau is right now more powerful than kwakwanso. Kano don’t want a barawon dollar corrupt ganduje to continue ruling them. Simple. Your kwakwanso was well beaten by Buhari, and couldn’t even win a single local government in the last concluded preseidency and house of rep election. All the senatorial seats went to APC. So this noise about kwakwanso should stop. He is Is overated abeg.
Was Kwankwanso on the ballot? Use ur head,he would have won if he was the presidential candidate

I don't care if you vote for a murderer, terrorist or thief. My issue was several topics
opened by many people here who praised Kano voters as the smartest in the country
because they vote based on "personality" and prefers "integrity".
The same authors berate southern states for returning "looters". They refuse to see the irony
in their thoughts given that the open thief got 50% of the votes.

In fact, I believe other reasons are responsible for Gandollars lower votes and Kano indigenes
don't care about his open-air stealing.

Vote for whoever you like but don't come here to lecture us that you value integrity.

Re: INEC declares Kano Governorship Election Inconclusive by smeag0l(m): 6:43pm On Mar 12, 2019
They didn't apply it because the total number of cancelled votes is way less than the margin between APC and PDP. If you look at states where they declared elections inconclusive, the margin of victory is less than the total number of cancelled votes. Also note that cancelled votes are not the same as void votes.

So inec can have all the time for all these so why all these are not applicable to the presidential election?
