You don't understand what I am saying and the context in which I am saying it.

Awoniyi, Seyi Ojo and others were all playing and training 5/6 times a week with Liverpool fc U23's before he went on loan.

From those training sessions and games you are competing with other players. They the coaches will decide if you can make the step up.

It was during that period last year that Awoniyi told me he had an injury and was getting treatment.

Not when a player is on loan at another club. Awoniyi could not get a work permit and that is why he was even with the u23 in the first place. Klopp put him there.

Ola Aina, Ekong, Semi Ajayi are clearly having better seasons.

Than Shehu ❓ That's the main thrust of my conversation.

However, with regards to Dominic l would say conclusively that in the position of RB Ola Aina is ahead playing in Seria A and regularly is a huge endorsement of his talent.

However, Dominic has been denied playing time for the larger part of the season. To come into Sheffield Wednesday in January, get match fit and play now 6 games, score two goals and now starting is quite a rapid rise.

Ekong is more or less established in the CB position for the SE. There are contenders like Fikayo Tomori who has been exceptional this season for Derby.

Critically speaking l think Dominic is technically weak comparative to Tomori however, l would not rate Ajayi ahead of him technically speaking. Having watched both players.

MOTM awards are indicative not necessarily conclusive of superiority in comparison of like to like. Has to be taken in contex of the team make up, nonetheless it's a good indicator particularly for young players.

You clearly don't understand how the club is administered with regards to loan moves. Klopp has very limited involvement unless they are players he has personally taken not of for special consideration. Otherwise his preoccupation is the first team.

I knew you'd come back with your Dominic Iorfa talk..

Well,I got some very bad news for you: Dominic iorfa isn't getting a call up to the super eagles anytime soon!

@the first bolded, when Iorfa was warming the bench for wolves last year, didn't u say he should be invited ahead of Semi Ajayi? Your excuse was that Iorfa has been performing consistently for the past few season in the championship while Ajayi used to be a nobody .Why are you saying something different now?/

@ second bolded...this is a lame excuse ..very lame...we have been through it before...Aina got cleared to play for Nigeria just before we grabbed the world cup ticket against Zambia. He was called up with the primary responsibility of displacing Echijele at LB.. He got like 5 mins against Zambia. 90 mins against Algeria,45 mins against Argentina but couldn't do any better than Echijele...Idowu and Ebuehi used just 45 mins against Argentina to show us what they can offer the team..

Aina has always been good at club level since he was at Chelsea.. there's no disputing that.. But as far as the super eagles is concerned,he is yet to replicate those form with the team.. National team.isn't like club football where you will b given chances after chances to prove your worth... Your club performance will earn u a national team invitation, but its your national team performance that will keep you there...

finitio!!

The bold is complete misinformation.

I haven't changed my discourse with regards to Dominic Iorfa. What exactly have l changed.

My position has been the same yesterday and today. Dominic was not warming the bench at Wolves he was EXCLUDED.

There are many who followed the SE more than me and they will all agree that most players took several games before finding a rhythm of consistent quality in the SE.

Ekong when he started was not outstanding, but that's not that important.

Players dont not remain static they change either in an upward progression or downwards with diminishing returns.

Aina has improved so also has Tomori, have they improved to the point where they are comparative or even better than the existing players in thier respective positions.

The pertinent question in CONTEXT is has Shehu improved comparatively or are we relying on his past glories in the SE

With regards to Ebuehi he came on when the formation changed against Argentina. And in the first half the whole team was poor, changing the formation changed the latter part of the game in our favour. So it's not as simplistic as you want to make it.

You have dismissed Iorfa but not on merit but pre conceived notion that are not founded on anything beyond it seems dislike.

My opinion has not changed, l do not rate Ajayi better than Dominic on any level. Even if he gets 10 MOTM awards and that is not changing the goal posts. But making deductions with context.

Ola Aina was called up cos we are having issue with RB position and if not for his late paper clearance against Cameroon at Uyo.Rohr was ready to start him against Cameroon, remember Ndidi and Omeruo were used as makeshift RB against Zambia and Algeria.

Late clearance of Aina paper gave Shehu the opportunity which he grabbed and was solid during WC qualifiers until pre WC friendlies and WC proper.

Aina direct rival to Echiejele was due to his versatility in both positions and I want to state it that sentiment took Echiejele to WC cos it was obvious when Rohr find it difficult to use Echiejele against Iceland but opted for young Ebuehi who replaced Idowu.

Truly Aina has not done much as national team player but Aina of present Torino has only talented Ebuehi to compete with not Shehu Abdullahi, though i would not be surprised if Rohr still preferred Shehu cos at WC it was glaring that Ebuehi should be a starter.

Same with Solanke grin

What's your issue with Solanke

This is a guy that knows very little or anything about Nigeria and has no affinity for Nigeria. He doesn't even understand any of our languages probably is not even listen to Afrobeat.

He is very different from Bobby Adekanya, D.Iorfa, Tega Onomah, Tega Abrahams, Tomori, Seyi Ojo, Oviemuno, etc, etc.

What is your point ❓ l said ages ago that l rate him higher better than KC and still do but that is in the position or a true No.9 striker.

You have become infantile obsessed with him since then, with derogatory comments and sarcasm but with no rationality.

Agreed without reservation.

But l add that Aina had not had much opportunity too.

Finally, we use current club form and performance well at least most professional managers do to select players.

In that context is Shehu playing exceptional well, has he improved or are there other players showing better quality than him.

Again putting matters in context if a player is playing in Seria A and is making a quality impact, has impressed and is clearly improving is that not reason enough to be considered.

How do players like Ronaldo keep their motivation season after season even when they have achieved everything??

Nigerian players seem to lose their drive once they make a little money. They would rather go to Slavia prague for money than go to decent clubs in good leagues to inprove their game and gain recognition.

Money seems to be the main motivation for our players.

Hold up, Ronaldo went to juve because Madrid refused to show him the money.

CR7 is the template for the new professional footballer but how many players did you hear were sleeping in ice baths before him.?

The lad you were talking about was tearing up Belgium but nobody came for him so what right do you have to question his Slavia move? Are you saying Aubameyang wouldn't replace Ronaldo's 50 goals if he went to Madrid? These clubs don't want black Africans playing the leading role.

Now that our players are now leaving Africa without touching a ball we should expect to see them last even longer. It is not about mentality but just the way it is

You are correct. But Africans are not alone, we have Europeans in China and South Americans as well. To be fair to Ighalo I believe he wanted to stay in England but his owners and Watford sold him to China.

Olayinka had other offers in better leagues but Slavia paid more. They have a wealthy owner. There are other examples, Imoh Ezekiel.

Onyekuru went to Turkey but he had offers from Germany.

Ronaldo has earned the right to demand more money. He continues to produce the goods. And he left madrid for a major club too.
