The earlier they decide the better for us leaving in Rivers. There is tension. Even some offices didn't open. I'm not sure the NDDC regional office close to INEC office has open since the suspension. The only major road in PH is partly closed. We need to forge ahead abeg

What is "the wish of the people"?

Anytime I hear this statement, it irks me. How does someone like you know the wish of the people without the official results by INEC. How can the wish of the people be different to the INEC results even if it is rigged.

What you are saying is a pre-planned decision for violence as long as the result is not the expected one.

If that is the case, PDP rigged Kano results since no one expected PDP lead. Should we say Kano results is not the wish of the people?

Sense is common but common sense is rare.

Exactly. They should declare the results as it were before the suspension. The aggrieved should go to court to retrieve their mandate if they feel the mandate is theirs. INEC has no power to cancel elections in Nigeria.
you people are saying this because you know how Amaechi used soldiers to cause havoc during the elections n you are sure that federal might will be used to pocket the tribunal, now I'm convinced wike won the elections n if he can proove with the rest declared at the polling units before they were hijacked at the collation centres by Amaechi military/thugs I don't see how any sane person would declare such results as you are agitating for, buhari is such a disgraceful hypocrite now he will be forming a fake saint n claims he was not aware if what Amaechi did with the military in River state but the whole world is watching as we all awaits INEC decision.

You see the way you easily know Wike's name as PDP but cannot remember the AAC candidate except you use google? That is how unpopular the party and its candidate is. Did they campaign at all in Rivers? Did the candidate participate in any debate or press briefing/interviews? What is its logo? So on what grounds would AAC be declared winner if not by pure, broad daylight rigging? How come there was no showing from the party for House of Assembly elections that took place on the same day is the governorship that is now being contested? Sometimes y'all should stop and think!

all you have said doesn't matter or necessarily translate to rigging even if both parties rigged the election , yes pdp and aac rigged ... Aac only getting votes because APC instructed thier members to support them . So it's the support base of APC that's giving the aac votes

Results of governorship elections shows clearly that Nigerians are tired of apc n it also shows that on average, Bubari rigged Feb 23 elections.

you dey mind them, it's always the wish of the people when pdp wins but stolen mandate when APC wins. Truth is pdp still sees themselves a the ruling party and finding it difficult to realize that we now have too many political players in the system determining who gets elected. The Nigerian political space is now being overcrowded with many interests and no one can no longer lay too much claim to it's stronghold

And who told you that AAC has the highest votes so far? We all know that you can't vote AAC as governor but produced PDP at assembly especially in a society like rivers. The party that dominates in the assemblies is usually the party voted for governorship...

Rivers Polls: Amaechi loses Constituency to PDP

Contrary to falsehood published by two leading Pro-APC online newspapers,  Minister of Transportation,  Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi and the Candidates he fronted lost the Governorship,  House of Representatives and State House of Assembly elections in his home Local Government Area,  Ikwerre.

The PDP Candidates fielded during the elections won with overwhelming majority,  an indication of the unpopularity of the Minister amongst his constituents.

For the Ikwerre/Emohua Federal Constituency,  Mr Boniface Emerengwa Sunday of the PDP polled 90, 646 votes to defeat Godwin Jacob of ADC polled 3, 260 while Amadi Chidi of APGA polled 3514 votes amongst other contestants.

The results were declared by the INEC Returning Officer,  Dr Oriakpono Obemeata.

( Track the Returning Officer read scores including that of PDP and also make a declaration)

For the House of Assembly,  Ikwerre State Constituency,  Congratulations Hon Anslem Oguguo of the PDP polled 18,650 votes to defeat the  SDP who scored 2,192 votes.

Bros/sis, read my comment very well. If you leave in Rivers you will know there is tension. I never said business is grounded. Some offices didn't open. I had business to transact with British Council in PH, they didn't open up till yesterday. Part of Aba road is blocked.

There is no way there won't be tension in a scenario we find ourselves. The only problem I have with Nigeria is that to them tension means war and that's not so. Everyone moves with extra caution. Most people working is reputable organization or multinational will undertands what I meant by tension
