I'm not a fan of problem comparison. the fact that someone elsewhere suffers more than another doesn't mean suicide can't happen. it has to do with mental strength. someone who has more problems could have the mental strength to carry them all whereas another who has a lil issue may not. God help us all

The Easterners should do something drastic about their region and people. The deliberate evil plan of northern/Fulani government to annihilate and render them useless is real. I was shocked to see Igbo beggers,blind young beggers at Ladipo market the other day!!!! Part of the fruits of the evil plan is these young Igbo boys hawking stuff on the streets and highways..the Hausa govt is happy with that as long as it has its own alumajiri up north.

Eastern governors and government should do something collective about these hawking kids who oughta be in schools. Anybody that needs a 'boy' in his shop should be ready to sponsor him/her alongside.

You think too highly of yourself. You're just a biological machine, a little better and a little more complicated than a car or an okada. If you happen to have a chemical imbalance in your brain YOU WILL COMMIT SUICIDE if it pushes you in that direction, regardless of all this logic/philosophy you proclaim on here.

Today we got to LASUTH and went to the emergency ward.

I and my cousin met a doctor and requested for assistance. The doctor seemed lost and blurted out that why are people commiting suicides these days? He pointed to a minivan and said the man inside committed suicide due to feuding with the wife.

I took a discreet peep when passing by and the dead man could not be more than 35years! His eyes were open but it was obvious he was gone. Brought In Dead.

Hmmm....sad. I don't believe stress/mental illness leads to suicide. I more believe is loss of hope.... when you lose hope you lose the will to live... when you lose the will to live... you seek death. I'm almost sure.... if people had taken just a little time to speak to her...give her hope... this would've been avoided. We should try to be our brother's/sister's keeper.... especially during these hard times.
