For those of you asking why I renewed my rents after all the troubles... Firstly, Getting a house in Lagos isn't an easy task, there's no time to look for another house.

Secondly, I based in ib with my family, I only visit Lagos whenever I have jobs in Lagos, the house is just to rest whenever I visits Lagos instead of paying for hotel. I hardly stay in that house not until January this year when I opened my branch office in Lagos.

Not a good excuse.

Getting a house is easy in Lagos the problem is getting a house in your preferred location.

Unless the house is the only one in town and you are not paying rent, it makes absolutely no sense to renew your rent.
Perhaps, there is something you are not telling us.

Listen very carefully, contact a rental agent this night, yes this night and tell him you need a house immediately.
Leave the house until you find another.
Don't wait to finish your rent because you may regret it.

Friday evening, I couldn't sleep I have my bath and stepped outside to have a fresh air around 7.30- 8p.m when I came back from work. She was about driving out, the security guy open gate for her, I greeted her and she responded. Around 7am I heard her telling the caretaker that I wanted to rob her that what am I doing outside with just towel on at night...we have 2 separate buildings in that compound, hers is behind the tenant own... Very far to the entrance gate. I was shocked to hear such accusation against me, I confronted her, she said instead of her to refund my money that I'm going to spend it in police station that she'll ask the area boys to deal with me, she said if nothing happens to me now that she gives me just 6 months. I left for work around 8.30am my neighbor called to stay away from the house for now that she brought some guys to the compound, telling them that I wanted to rob and rape her lol (70) years old woman.

I went straight to the police station to report the case around 10am. The police said we should invite her, we got to the house but met her absent.

6pm yesterday, a police called me that my landlady has order my arrest for rape case that I should report to the Area m police station tomorrow 10.am. I'll be going there tomorrow.

Please how best can I handle this case. Thank you

You may not be able to blame him that much, the amount spent on agent/agreement/commission/damages makes it difficult to move out easily, had it been that you only need your house rent and other payment it would av been easy.

I will advise you to beg the landlady asap...Please, go with elderly people.

If you venture into that hell house, she is gonna arrest you because she is gonna twist the case to her favour, as she is well known in the community.

If eventually you are arrested, the police are gonna beat you up wella, with instructions from her...If you are not strong enough, you may DIE in this case...If you are strong physically to withstand police torture, you are gonna spend huge sum of money to be bailed out of your future circumstance with a lengthy undertaking.

Around 7am I heard her telling the caretaker that I wanted to rob her that what am I doing outside with just towel on at night...we have 2 separate buildings in that compound, hers is behind the tenant own... Very far to the entrance gate. I was shocked to hear such accusation against me, I confronted her, she said instead of her to refund my money that I'm going to spend it in police station that she'll ask the area boys to deal with me, she said if nothing happens to me now that she gives me just 6 months. I left for work around 8.30am my neighbor called to stay away from the house for now that she brought some guys to the compound, telling them that I wanted to rob and rape her lol (70) years old woman.

I went straight to the police station to report the case around 10am. The police said we should invite her, we got to the house but met her absent.

6pm yesterday, a police called me that my landlady has order my arrest for rape case that I should report to the Area m police station tomorrow 10.am. I'll be going there tomorrow.

Please how best can I handle this case. Thank you

Find a human rights lawyer n report to.

They will properly deal with her.

Pls there is a 2 bed room flat in the compound where I live, apartment need small repairs, toilet & window, there is light, but no water, they sell water very close to estate gate, and we also get water via next compound for free
