Some fine propositions by you, but most of the proposals herein are utopian and impracticable. I will respond to just paragraph a of proposal number 3.
First, you can't privatise all gov't parastatals. Let's take the Corporate Affairs Commission for example, who steps in to fill the vacuum created by a privatisation of the CAC? A private firm? How then do we balance the conflict of interest that's bound to arise in the event that your proposed privatisation is carried out? Again, who carries out the duties of parastatals like NERC, NAFDAC and other sector based regulators? How do you tackle the risk of conflict of interest associated with leaving such agencies at the hands of private corporate entities? A cursory look at my submissions would show that your argument on privatisation caves in upon itself at the slightest critical assessment.
Oh... on a lighter note and for the sake of a little banter, shey na your Baba be President and your party dey majority for legislature, make you reach out to them see whether them go try implement your point on emoluments.
Don't mind that one...i can bet a million he cant prove his proposition with facts and figures

Blah blah ...tell me which serious country has VAT of 5‰ thats a joke ...it should be 15% minimum

Those rogues in government should reduce the jumbo. salary which they unjustly earn for doing almost next to nothing and boom we will have more than enough extra cash to pay the workers without any additional burden to the poor masses. Rubbish people.

You have a good point here also bro.
When we say 'all' we meant most of the parastatals, not all as in 100%.
And the rest are very practicable, if we get the 'will' as a nation to do that.
Concerning our Baba, we will be going to see him at Aso Rock prior the swearing-in ceremony in a couple of months from now, on special request.
So we will definitely hint Daddy then,
May God keep us all alive till then.
Cheers!
Oga u lack understanding of how a government is run bro

The first question u need to ask is what is Nigerian average revenue per month ...as it stands now what is the wage bill , debt servicing bill, then what is left

We have written this more than once here since last year.....
Hope it can get to the right sources.

HOW NIGERIA CAN PAY MINIMUM WAGE COMFORTABLY..........

1. Abolish SECURITY VOTE in NIGERIA. Nigeria will pay N45,000 minimum wage comfortably.

2. a) Abolish CONSTITUENCY PROJECT FUNDS
b) Reduce number of ADVISERS to SENATE PRES(2), HOUSE SPEAKER(2), GOVs(4), PRESIDENT(5), VP(2)
c) Reduce current ALL Political Office Holders PAY CHEQUES by 51.5%, without exception
d) Do away with special remuneration to POLITICAL ADVISERS & PUBLIC SERVANTS e.g; Purchase of Private Vehicles, Houses, granting Govt paid Vacations, paying for 1st & Business Class Transportations, etc, etc...
e) Abolish payment of OVERSEAS MEDICAL BILLS for Political Office Holders.
f) Eliminate PRIVATE PRACTICE in public workforce
g) Eliminate participation of Public Workforce in Partisan Politics.
h) Institute EMPLOYMENT BY MERIT, and eliminate UNDEREMPLOYMENT.
i) Review and eliminate allocation of Govt paid POLITICAL AIDES & SUPPORT STAFF to Political Office Holders.

With (1) + (2) Nigeria would pay a minimum wage of N65,000 comfortably

3. Move Nigeria MORE to Private Sector Driven Economy
a) Privatise ALL of Federal Govt PARASTATALS & reduce Federal Direct Funded AGENCIES to 68% of the present.
b) Privatise ALL of STATE Govt PARASTATALS & reduce State Direct Funded AGENCIES to 19% of the present.
c) Reduce current DIRECT LABOUR JOB participation by 49%
d) Encourage more Working Hours until Nigeria economic stabilizes
e) Discourage UNIONISM in Public Workforce

With (1) + (2) + (3), Nigeria would pay a minimum wage of N101,500 comfortably.

4) Institute DEATH PENALTY to proven THEFT OF PUBLIC FUNDS no matter how little, and LIFE Jail Sentences for COLLABORATORS.

With (1) + (2) + (3) & (4), Nigeria would pay a minimum wage of N203,500 comfortably.

GOD BLESS OUR PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI.
GOD BLESS NIGERIA

You're proposal's dont mean anything. You been posting this same thing but never mention hard numbers. No math was done and no mention avout how much any of these programs and staff actually cost. Its like any Facebook political meme

1.
I do agree security vote is corrupt and should be abolished. It should be channeled toward paying wages but security agencies. Unless you plan to forget about security threats all ovet the nation this isnt an option. FG spends N241on security vote wouldn't be enough for 45k minimum wage. The FG need 300b for 30k minimum wage according to vanguard.

2. I agree constituency projects are stupid. Thats work for Local government to handle. You still fail to mention how much is buget each year. The rest sound good but wont happen. Even Buhari wont stop going overseas for check up. The rest dont have clear numbers so to tell me how much any of this cost nigeria.

3.
If you had slim public sector with robust private sector Nigeria wouldnt be talking about this. Lol the FG abd states arent slimming down public workers.

I am not surprised. A lot of reasonable people said the new minimum wage is unrealistic but Nigerians being emotional rather than logical would not listen.

If VAT is increased, the workers would be poorer than they currently are even though they earn more.

To increase the standard of living , we need to reduce costs(cost of food, housing, et al) which would increase the purchasing power of
the common man without increasing the wage bill and we need to be more productive. Anything outside this two is going in circles.

grin grin Lol. I'm also a business man as well and so i also know these things. For even corporate account, the fact remains that even some FIRS guys would advise using the account for general transactions which also covers for purchases whether shopping in stores or anything. When filing, one can get away with so many things.

It's only when one transact with some companies that have collected WHT and also have filed that it will be difficult to completely manipulate. And FIRS are improving day by day. Once their system captures a transaction, na wahala

if these idiots in power really want to pay 30k, they should reduce the emoluments of political office holders by 50 percent., reduce cost of governance by another 50 percent.

the fact that they re borrowing to pay salaries tells you 30k is a joke.

Why not just organise the country and take income tax? VAT is already 5percent. If no one is able to evade income tax, then oil will no longer account for more than 10 percent of revenue.
