People gonna blame whichever way, even if we won 5-0 they'd still find a way to single out a player for the stick, "na normal thing for football, and life itself, besides how thread Wan take sweet if everybody reason allign.... I'm more worried about how we'd "Juventus" them when they come here... I haven't really watched some of these guys and many of us here didn't get to see the game today, but the LIST contains some good names that should be able to win a game in 9ja. Well I hope so sha... Abeg when is the second leg, I hope it's in a few days time... 2 Likes |

We have capable players to execute the second leg...i think from the first half till the red card was given...we lacked bite....no one crossed the ball....no wing play....It was as if some players were hiding...whenever Azubuike gets the ball...he will be looking endlessly...turning and turning to see whom to pass the ball to...Nwakali as always did not help him at all...we lacked speed...no long range shots,,,free kicks by Nwakali were ALL MESS.....there was no coordinated attack....passes were slow...positioning was eyesore...no organization...no plan...The Libyans i believe knew before hand that we will come at them through the wings...they just crowded and clipped our wingers....The Libyans did not give us any space...GENERALLY..I DID NOT SEE OUR USUAL FLAIR...ZEST....SPEED...SKILL...PURPOSE...Were we playing a friendly match? |

Whatever the game plan is. It's imperative we don't concede a goal to Libya in the return leg. In that case, we might need to score 4times to go through. That's the reality. |

SIMPLE COMPREHENSION is pur major problem on this thread. When the U-23 list was out, some here merely complimented the squad in regards to their respective age , talent and so on. Nobody boasted that we will beat Libya .Infact, somebody pointed out the team's weakness which is the defense. They lose now and some people start ranting that we over hype them. Some people think with their THIRD LEG ahswear |

Olulong: Playing with a man down and having an ineffective midfielder in Nwakali as some people reported is obviously a recipe for loss. Thanks for pointing that out on Bonaventure. |

Earthquake2: if I'm not mistaken d person in question said with good coaching d team can beat the first team of some African countries which I agree with anyways. how many national teams in Africa can boast of such amount of talent. The fact dat they lost was dependent on a lot of factors and not that d players were bad. more so a lot of top nations like Senegal to smaller teams. even Tunisia were held to a draw at home by one country dat I can't remember so let's take a chill and wait till d second leg b4 we start criticizing Dem pls |

Icon79: First of all, the Super Eagles is ABSOLUTELY NOT the place you develop TALENT. Talent is developed, nurtured and created in your club and league. It is recognised and appreciated by CONTINOUS CONSISTENT TOP QUALITY OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCES. What you are proposing is to enthrone MEDIOCRITY create the framework for Nepotism, favoritism and corruption. The players you have mentioned have not gone anywhere near the level that Ighalo, Ahmed Musa and Mikel Obi have attained, indeed they MAY NEVER EVER attain that level. You do not put speculative potential over established proven and tested quality players . All because they have chosen to chase after huge amounts of £££€€€ in less competitive league. Your approach will take us BACKWARDS. Let Osimhen and Chukwueze prove and develop themselves first over a few season. They could easily turn out to be a small flash in the pan. I can not even call them." one season wonders" because they have have not even played one season of football yet, in addition they haven't done anything wondrous to upstage our trusted players. For goodness sake this is thier first season in competitive first team football. 1 Like |
