Love, Death + Robots

Never seen anything quite like it. Animated short stories that are standalone (anthology). They are bizarre as well as funny, mind boggling as much as they are compelling, and most of all, enthralling. I don't care for the animation style used in two episodes, but the rest are really, really good.

Plot wise, the stories feel Black Mirror - esque, except, they are even more bizarre and sometimes, feel more relatable(?). I really hope this series will run for a very long time, cuz I need more. I'm hopelessly addicted and can't wait for more of those weird concepts. Sci-fi at it's very best. Bravo Netflix.

I really liked the "good hunting" episode very well

I liked most of episodes, particularly:

- Three Robots: Hilarious, but also depressing.
- The Witness: Deep. Time paradox. A short mindf**k.
- Suits: Simplistic and straight to the point. Also, dug the animation style.
- When the Yoghurt took over: Provided me with another moment of mirth since episode 2.
- Beyond the Aquila rift: Amazing. The twist at the end was well done, but left me with so many unanswered questions. Another mindf**k.
- Good Hunting: Started as a medieval chinese monster story, but transformed into a compelling steam punk.
- Shape shifters: Dog soldiers. Damn, this is one episode I really wish were longer. Best werewolf transformation and fight I've seen in a while.
- Alternate History: Hilarious.
- The Dump: What a twist! Loved it!
- Secret War: My personal favorite. Could easily pass for cutscene of a top open world PS4 video game. Loved everything about it.
- Lucky 13: Action packed, and a satient ship.
- Sonnies edge: Very virtually pleasing... and English accents. The double twists were nicely done.

Needless to say I was very very happy to wake up from that dream.

Deadly Class took me by storm with the first episode, needless to say it has been downhill from there.

I sha want to see how it ends.

I started watching dynasty when I saw your post, but managed to finish season 1 episode 1 which bored the hell out of me. So I am done! Was it that interesting?

So glad The Enemy Within isn't directed in a similar manner to other shows like 24 where the mole goes on impeding investigations and everyone else without ever getting found out until it's too late.

Root her out sharpish and let's get on with the show...

It's like Black Mirror 2.0 in the sense that it has all the backbone of Black Mirror, and much more. So much creativity. It has horror, science fiction, fantasy and some elements of comedy... and bucket load of nudity.

Also, the animation style is always changing, but retain their stun factor. This show, however limited it's stories are, showed what many CGI anime failed at. It's one of the best original anthologies I have had the pleasure of watching since Black Mirror, IMO.

Overall, season 8 was interesting though it become to drag towards the end. Overall it was interesting. My favorite is American Horror story is still “Coven” (season 3).

I love Black Mirror, didn't really like Altered Carbon, I couldn't finish Lost in Space, bored me the hell out, I have seen the expanse.

I loved Origin though. Can't wait for the second season.

Dude I thought it was ony me, after watching I had one post apocalyptic dream like that. Mine was worse cause Mereba’s song - Heatwave, was playing in the background of the dream. I was happy to wake from it too

Some episodes of Love, Death & Robots had subliminal messages, like the episode 16 called “ice age” about the old fridge.
