That was why Son was delayed from going to the Asian games. These people think being a world class player is all about dribbling unnecessarily.

They even delayed him from going to the AFC Asia cup self grin

I won't say Son is better than Zaha cus Son plays for a bigger club.. Zaha should join Klopp or pep and let them help him with his end product and he will become one of the best in the world

When you play for Tottenham, you don't need to dribble you just need to tap in from Eriksen's through pass

When you play for Crystal Palace you have to create your chances and take them

Know the difference between the two

So, according to you, Son only scores tap in from Erikson's through pass.

OK, you win. Zaha is a world class player. He is in a class of players like Hazard, Salah, Aguero etc.

When you play with big players it changes your performance

Iheanacho was thought as world class when he was playing for Man City until he played for Leicester

Whoever thought Iheanacho was at any time a world class player must be a Clown grin.

The way the phrase "World class" is used loosely on this thread is quite funny.

Son carried that Spuds attack when Kane was out. Watch his performance against BVB..dude played as a 9 sef.
Son is a better player than Zaha. This one isn't up for debate.

Oga the spurs let Son go to Asia when Kane was hurt. The Spurs are about Pochettino not any single player.

That's bear parlor talk. Shouldn't even get brought up in a serious conversation.

https://www.theguardian.com/football/2018/sep/20/wilfried-zaha-manchester-united-hell-demons-alone

These are three fairly reputable SERIOUS newspapers that carried the story. Now that's the media.

There is what l was told from speaking to people involved with Manchester United at the time.

My view it was in his best interests to deny the story even if it was true .

Do you know where they are being live streamed if at all and or what TV stations might be showing the games.

Meanwhile l am watching England U21 give Poland a football lesson.

I am talking about this in the context of the Nigerian U23 selection. In this England team that has 18 year old players who have two seasons of first team football under thier belts.

There is a tendency in our U23 selection to use players from Europe who are essentially academy players, and rely on past youthful glories, Nwakali is a classic example. In my opinion that's not good enough we need better.

In this England team we have two undiluted NAIJA boys in Ademola Lookman and Fikayo Tomori these guys have been playing competitively for 4 seasons plus.

Tomori is arguably the best young CB in the Championship, he is that good. We all know Ademola Lookman who Everton rejected a near £30 million offer from Liepzig for last season.

Lets wait till tomorrow to see what will come up on websites. For now no info on places to watch them... As you said...i normally use Atlanta 96 squad as reference to what u23 is...Players who have gone to senior world cup but still under 23 are called up to play it...ATLANTA 96 had Nation s Cup winners....u23 is not for players who are playing in the b team of top clubs ooo...Nwakali is out of it...u23 is Awaziem s level...Ndidi,Uzoho,yes Uzoho,Collins Super Eagles left back, infact ALL THOSE WHO WENT TO THE LAST WORLD CUP WHO ARE U23 SHOULD JOIN THE CAMP....The u23 is not u20 that you play with young professionals.....it is a much more serious business...so i align with what you said...we must go for broke in the second leg....win or bust....I remember a certain Olympic qualifier that we needed four unreplied goals to qualify....Ebiede was in action....We got the last goal at the last second....Westerhof eeeee

Why is it that Nigeria lacks midfielders

We have only one decent midfielder in the whole country shocked

He has scoring and assisting. He was also thier best player doing that stretch of games.
11 goals and 5 assists in 24 games in which just 18 were starts

The talent is not evenly distributed across all departments, midfield and defense especially. Meanwhile I remember the team of 96. In one of the qualifiers against Kenya in the first leg in Lagos, we labored to a 0-0 draw. In came Okocha, Kanu, Oliseh, etc the Kenyans didn't know what hit them in Mombasa, 3-0 hammering. Hoping we can convincingly win the 2nd leg and qualify, at least it's better to hope than give up hope. And if we lose out, it's not the end of the world.

I'm seriously not looking forward to the return match. Just as you said, it's not the end of the world.

Nah, I won't put him at Neymar, Mbappe, or Mane levels yet. However, I think he's better than the likes of Son and even Raheem Sterling. Sterling is just lucky to be playing with a great team.

gosh, even KC Iheanacho was a star @ManCity as well.

O pari

edi287:

True but his end product is barely at the level to put him on Mane, Neymar level like Earthquake did.

i watched the game again and i would renstate that we would thrash the libyans when they arrive asaba, it would be a blood bath, they where extremely very lucky they all two shot on goal am certain, the reason we went behind was unfortunate for the first goal all our defenders went upfront, but we controlled the midfield until we went 1 man down .. the libyans defended deep all they wanted was to counter us, their mild fielders were no where to be found.. we also had chances to equalize before they scored the second goal which was a lapse in concentration.. am 100 percent certain that the libyans would pack the bus in asaba... we just have to break their defence if it was not for that red card we would have equalized and even won the game.. asaba would be a blood bath for them i expect 5 unreplied goals.. we just have to start scoring early... just note i said this 5 if not more they were more than lucky...

The red card the goalie got was not supposed to be red he was inside his 18 yard line when he made the save... am 100 percent about that...

Rohr assessment of Kelechi was brutal.

1. He needs to get more professional.
2. He jokes too much.
3. He needs to improve for club and country.

” We know Kelechi, for the moment, I think he is playing in a club where at the moment there’s a new coach. It would be better for him to show in this FIFA window at home, in his club ‎to his new coach, the new manager who’s coming that he want to get back into the starting team of Leicester. I think it was a good moment for him to stay there”,

But also we are not really satisfied about his performances the last time. ‎I think he must be more professional, it’s not good enough to be all the time funny, you must show that you’re serious working everyday in the training session and to show that you want to come back in the team and also with us”,

maybe 'world class" is not the right word but Kelechi had an impressive stat at man city. I can remember he was labeled one of the deadliest striker then.
