That's perhaps why you should go. To teach that church is more than about money. Reminds me of the coming of Christ in fact to the church of his day that was similarly about money.

The truth is that despite all their falsehoods and exaggerations, Nigeria is still one of the few places left where the truth of the gospel is being preached and it is definitely also one of the nations with the "most powerful" men of God.

I love this dialogue. You guys have blessed my heart with all these responses. Im loving it. I really believe that Nigeria is getting prepared for the next wave of revival that will take place with these young people today. Watch out, God is up to something!

Avled, if you have peace in your heart as regards setting up a ministry in Nigeria, I don't see any reason why you shouldn't come. There may be many churches in the world but very few shepherds. You are welcome to preach the Word of God anywhere the wind of the Spirit takes you.

I already checked it. I share that love. Nigeria isn't an easy place but I probably haven't got your smarts. I went frequently for years as part of my research and lasted two years in the end crippled. But my mission was books and not the Gospel of the Lord and I myself lacked the Holy Ghost.

Well, I will be making my official relocation transition to Africa in February this year. I was told TODAY by a major pastor figure in Nigeria that I should not come to build a church in Nigeria because the Nigerians will not support an American pastor coming to start a church in Nigeria. What are your thoughts on this?
