Can you remain in a relationship with your partner after losing your emotional connection with him or her? And what are the things that can make you lose emotional connection with your partner?

Depends on who you are and how powerful your aura is.

Emotional connection is the second thing I look for. I will not remain in a relationship in which it is absent from the get-go, or in which regaining it back proves difficult. It is that important to me.

In every relationship there comes a time where emotional disconnection comes in either from the guy or lady. But it's really not ideal to leave your partner cause of it. It happens everywhere, it still gonna happen in your next relationship even marriages suffer same fate.
But this is when you need to see the good in your partner, sit down and ask yourself why was it him/her among others. What's so special that made you choose them among others you've seen and if you can be truthful to yourself, in here lies your answer.

Love is good, but good communication is the bedrock of every relationship that's gonna go through the storms and come out strong together (but not sane )
