I think those 3 were outstanding today (breaths of fresh air in a very poor team). I have updated Collins score to 6.

O pari

Ndidi and Collins were better than Onyekuru.

As for our performance, I am not that worried to be quite frank. Our team does not tend to take meaningless, low level opponents very seriously and it shows in their gameplay. Our performances against Libya and Iceland show that we show up when it truly matters. Can't wait for our test with Egypt!!

Iwobi poor, could not get his passes through

Ighalo, not good either, falling down all over the place. One good turn.

Etebo, what exactly does he offer?

Uzoho, seriously, what was that?

Shehu, what was he playing?

Ndidi and Collins best on the pitch.

Borefest!!

I no watch the ball, but as na you talk this thing i beleive you.

It's not the pitch. Its the way we played. No creativity in the middle. Our passes are predictable- defence to wingers. Ighalo has no business on the pitch till he got injured. He was just a short one. The coach is just a wise old man. Playing very safe and managing the ego of his players. The Egypt game will open up lot of shortcomings in his tactics.

Una don start? na only ighalo una dey see

But person like tbaba go see everybody wey no play well

If dem say una dey bias una go dey think say person wan find trouble

Was ighalo the only player that has no business on the pitch?

on another note Barry, we don't have an effective and efficient individual brilliance of a player that can/should always rescue the team at crucial moments. Every team always have that one player....can we boast of one?

I'm particularly angry about the issue of stadia in the country....it irks me always when we host matches on "cattle ranchs and call it stadium... Many countries in Africa have a few standard stadiums, big capacities etc we don't even have a 80 or 70 cap in the country, I think Abuja should be 60 or so while Lagos is about 45,uyo 30 I guess and others, way below. Can't say the same for southie or North Africa...

I still ask when are we gonna host the nation's cup, funny how we have never bidded or be in reckoning as a potential Hosting countries of late, simple. We currently lack the infrastructure, which is quite shameful, our two biggest stadiums don't even work...

Sometimes or many times self I just Tire for naija... Didn't watch the match, but everyone is complaining bout the pitch, some even questioning why a football match should be played there... A must win u23 match is also billed to be played on the farm... I hail us for this country..... A football mad nation without stadiums...

We are a weird country. Even that asaba stadium we couldn't fill up let alone if we had a 70k seater stadium.

We need to have a world class stadium in Lagos. That would be guaranteed to fill up for every super eagles game just like in the early 90s. Every team on the continent knew they were in trouble when they were away to Nigeria.

They knew we will host them in the national stadium Suru lere, they knew they would be facing a strong team and a capacity crowd of partisan supporters and I think deep down they came to Nigeria expecting a proper beating.

Bring back those days.

If our u23 plays in this Asaba pitch we may lose...The size of the pitch will help the Libyan to be compact....and the state of the turf will be against us.....either way,we are in hot soup

We actually played better in the first leg but the team had only one training session before that game.

I don't think this is a good excuse. This is not the first time Nigeria will be involved in U23 football qualifiers. We should have gone past this kind of excuses for failure.

The usual routine Siasia took in Beijing and Rio qualifiers was to assemble a team of homebased players. Drilled the guys over a month, then beef the team up with foreign based players and play the qualifiers.

We failed to use this template this time. Instead we played to gallery with questions about age of local players. Decamped almost all of them and threw qualification hopes on foreign players who rolled in durring the international break, with just a training session, hoping for a magic result because God is a Nigerian.

See at the moment only liverpool and mancity zaha will struggle for game time, He will start at all epl teams, i repeat my self

Now make i burst una bubbles, Zaha will start at this current madrid team.
Zaha will not start for Spurs and Man United too. Unless he's going to play on the right wing or something - he is not benching Son.

People take it easy. Today's game in essense was a Friendly. The players haven't played together in 5 months.
Let's not jump to conclusions based on one game. Aleast wait until the Egypt Friendly to thoroughly analyze players and formations. I wouldn't even delve to deeply into the team until they've played a 3rd match self.

Which Spurs winger is better than him or Man U ?

Zaha is better thqn the wingers at those club

You think as a coach I will play lingard ahead of zaha ?

because say na black man you think he won't make it there

Is son the only winger at spurs?

we showed up against them. Mind you, the argies were the only team that scored 3 goals against the French team. They could have even equalised, if Higuain had not miss that golden opportunities.
We stood our ground against them. We matched them and even had the best chances in that encounter. Please stop ridiculing our team.

Guys to be honest we played very well. Our strenght lies in wing-play which is very difficult on this kind of pitch. With the way Seychelles played, given this pitch, it will be very difficult to dribble or move with the ball into the 18 yard box without badging into bodies, getting kicks and getting injured, and there is not even a way to draw them out. Inspite of all these we scored three goals.

It is sad Amaju Pinnick has decided to play with the Super Eagles with this horrible stadium choice. Even the turn out is an eye sore.
