If you have paid the fees and sent your certified doc then no worries... It would change immediately they are done processing your application (3-5weeks after posting/Payment)

Brother, I wanted to even point you out.
You said u are for Summer 2020, but I see u have garnered a lot of information from previous threads from the expertise u are showing in questions being asked here.
You know our people like quick quick solution, but no wan read. You can see someone that have read just a complete part thread pages asked some questions that are being asked here, anyway is all good as it keeps renewing the Infos in our head and keeps the thread going.
Ekushe my brother.
U will testify when your time comes and I will be among those that will congratulate you. Please tackle the BA aspect now, that to me, is the real deal, not AL or interview.
When I first heard about Germany opportunities from my brother Berliner, I read a comment by Justwise that stuck in my heart before I decided to follow suit, he said "if you know you don't have any relative that will give you SL and your family or sponsors are not capable of raising 3.5million for you, then you don't have any business applying to Germany".
I was set back by his statement but it helped me, so that I won't be wasting my time. My initial budget to travel out was within 1.5-2mil, but I decided to get my sponsors backing for 3.6mil first, before applying for last year winter that I didn't get
Am writing this, cos I have noticed a lot of comments on proof of sustenance and I feel we need to do the first things first. As much as I believe in the existence of miracles and Grace, the truth is that God does will we live by Grace or Miracles alone, but following the principles. I know of some people that have been getting admission and have not traveled because of same money talk, one sef this winter will be his 3rd attempt and I pray he sails through.
Am not saying we should give up say 3.6mil no d account but be honest and realistic, if e no de, plan am to another time and start saving and hustling towards it than giving yourself too much pressure
Germany will still be here till God knows when, some that won't even go will have their children go on their behalf, let's take it jeje before we loose even our 1 mil for SL runs. Patience is really needed to emigrate, u can ask Canada PR them and Germany family reunions how e de be, same with Aussie PR

Hmmm, vinlreeks i No even know how I write all this just for ordinary hail wey I wan give you grin

God go crown our efforts with success Las Las, am very sure of that

Amen Brotherly Testimonies will go round and you will surely grab yours soon. your answers to questions here i learnt from it too.
All i did was read and from reading you could decipher between good and better. I always had one thing on my Mind and it was BA. People have travelled on bought SL tho but they should be kind enough to tell others what coping without BA for a newbie in Germany is like. I dont know maybe people think when they pay for SL on arrival to DE the 1mill or so will be refunded to them or something grin biko its gone already. At least you will need cash for your semester fee, sometimes 3months of rent upfront. By the end of the day Nigga fit done spend over 500k and this is compulsory for a newbie. Of course the guy you bought this SL from won't be the one making the expenses for you which rubbishes the main idea behind SL.
Am not trying to spoil business for scammers around here oo grin grin am just trying to give sense to some fellows cool

@chriswazo my guy your efforts will be blessed with A. M and a smooth transit to DE

Nawa for NL small you you type boom!!.. everywhere will full grin

What If you go with old expired passport, do you still need all these?
lecksam:
I can’t delay in replying you because you have been more than helpful here ..

1.State of origin certificate Photocopy ( but go along with the original, they will ask to see it)
2.Birth certificate / Age declaration
3. recent passport photograph
4.Fees ( depending on whether its 32 or 64 pages)

Sips tea smiley...

They are not also considering the fact that in most cases, you don't get a job immediately you arrive. Plus working/studying sounds easy but it's actually hard, at least in my experience undecided..

"Spoil business for scammers", lol grin grin..

Please go along with your old passport because they will ask to see it and might be collected to be sure you didn’t misplace it or so ..

Creating whatsapp group is a selfish idea and it will kill this thread. How many of you came across this thread or nairaland through whatsapp group?

Hi bro,

I was at my school last year to apply for my transcript to be sent to a school in Canada. I was also able to get a copy scanned to my email (i want to refer to this as unofficial copy).

So i am wondering, is it possible to apply to German schools with this unofficial copy as it will cost me almost 100k to send the official transcript to each school.

Alternatively, i am considering paying for the WES evaluation package that provides transcript storage and sending, so that my next request to my school to process my transcript will be a final one as they will send it to WES who will evaluate the transcript and send to any school i request them to.

What do u guys think of this approach?

CC: dolpaz, Eldeee

Unless you're using the evaluated transcript for just Canada and US, don't even bother with it cos they won't send to Germany and even if they send the schools won't accept it. Tried to have them send my evaluated transcript to Germany but could not. Then sent my own copy of evaluated transcript to schools in Germany but got rejected without any reason. My CGPA 2.4 German scale. So safe yourself the stress. I would suggest if you're applying to any school through uni-assist, you can send them a mail to find out if they can send a copy of your transcript to your school of choice for a token, they may or may not agree to do so. My humble suggestion though.

Please don't make mistake of uploading any document even pictures in any format that is not pdf.
Its strictly stated in the website.

As for your documents, it's not stated that you must use certified copies.
If you are applying with the scanned copy of your original documents, then you don't need to use certified and there is no submit button after uploading the documents.
But be aware that application for geoinformatics at university of Münster requires certified copies only as stated in the website

Hi Anne,

Your humble suggestion was very helpful. At least it will save me $250 (WES evaluation fee) in this endeavour.

Regarding the first emboldened part, which evaluated transcript did you send? WES's?

My Naija CGPA is 3.31. How do i convert this into German scale?

Thanks, Anne

As in!

Those guys literally place people's lives on hold.

Imagine having to wait for 3 - 6months for a decision. I know a guy that waited for almost a year. He eventually sought legal redress before a decision was made.

2.2 on German Scale.

That’s 2.26 in German grading system which is a good one in German grading system for admission depending on the school and course of study

Yes, but in the first form, there is this space for picture but it wasn't marked with asterisk (indicating that it is optional), but in the last part which is the section of uploading documents I understood that all files ought to be in PDF. I will continue with the application tomorrow evening shaa. Just finished the ML, will review it again before submitting.

In order to have a plan B, I will also suggest that you should apply to some schools against Winter semester so that if eventually, it does not work out as planned, you can quickly switch to your plan B. Shalom
