I just want to say how great it is that the Super Eagles can lend some of their 'experienced' players to the U-23 in their time of need. Especially because these are actual U23 players (as far as we are concerned grin)

I hope those in the senior team can make the right impact in their crucial qualifying match today.

You might want to read a more profound article about this event. Your link didn't give a full breakdown of the audit report.
You might want to take a look at something more detailed like this.

It also noted that the sum of $3.38 billion which was not appropriated in the national budget was spent on kerosene subsidy.

Just scanning the article you posted, I can easily see this. The NNPC claimed they spent $3.38 Billion dollars without appropriation. This alone is enough to prove Emir Sanusi right. I doubt you even glanced at it. Just jumped at the headline.

Sanusi was complaining that NNPC was spending Billions of dollars without appropriation. I am not ready to start delving deeper. It just shows you were oblivious to the whole debacle.

The report said the NNPC presented a transaction document representing additional costs of $2.81 billion related to the review period, stressing the need to clarify whether such deduction should be made by the corporation as a first line charge before remitting the net proceeds of domestic crude to the federation account

Another from the article you posted.

Shows Emir Sanusi's complaint that NNPC were taking money from the Crude Oil Revenue and doing what they liked with the money.

A total mess.

I was expecting to see unremitted $20B like you claimed but instead you're fiddling with figures ranging from $2.8B - $3B... While Sanusi went bunkers with his initial $47B unremitted claims.

The PWC report factored in subsidy, petroleum profit tax, signature bonuses etall in their audit to clear the nnpc.

$20B cannot get lost between four government agencies like Nnpc, Npdc, CBN and the supervising ministry, the ministry of finance, except you believe in fairy tales. I want to believe you're not unlettered.

29' Nigeria 0-0 Libya

Another corner for Nigeria, Chukwueze's delivery meets Ozornwafor unmarked at the far post but his header goes wide.
