I wrote the ielts on February 9, 2019 for the first time with 8month pregnancy. I started preparing mid-January as that was when I decided to relocate. I had the following scores LWRS 8.5, 7.5, 9, 8.

I didn't go to any study centre. I simply watched Jay's videos on each of the sections. I also watched Liz's videos. Then i practised intensely using ieltsonlinetests.com and Cambridge ielts downloaded from devfartha. Be ready to use a lot of data.

Pls i jst sent an email. Kindly respond.
Thank you

Trust me Bro, I live in Canada, Canada is about Certification and licensing. They are Trade school everywhere, If her employer is bringing her over, then she is just a few years from getting PR, if she wanna go to school she sure can, depends on how old her kids are. Canada is one of the Best place you can Migrate to, best Health care and Education. I have Bsc in Business Administration bro, but I am Training in Automobile now, it is what we call Mechanic in Nigeria and that sure pu more per hour than some office Job

He actually has a company over there n intends getting LMIA for us. I asked d type of visa he said it’s W1 visa what do u think about this. Is it possible that with LMIA u won’t be needing IELTS certificate

Madam please leave. Canada is the best. I live in Canada. If My husband, myself and my daughter who is a US citizen left US to Canada I can't see the reason why you should be confused. What I don't understand is the visa package. Canada is the only country I've always pray to God to bless because they gave hope and good life to lots of families.

He is getting an LMIA for us. N d Visa category is W1 meaning working Visa with two years work permit. Is this possible

There is nothing like W1 visa, you really need to be scammed to learn your lessons

Madam google LMIA first to learn what that means, its a document that allows an employer to hire foreign worker, it will basically show that no Canadian can do that job, he is promising you unskilled job which many Canadian can do and it seems you are falling for this

My husband n I are both in grade level 10 and it’s a two year visa subject to renewal by d company offering us d job. To get to d apex in carrier will not be really easy for me but my husband is likely to get there considering their agency is not as populated as ours. Am just thinking how possible it wil be to relocate n survive in Canada doing miner jobs. I forgot to mention, someone i know arranging it for us though I stil doubt d authenticity by I hv a level of trust on d person. He told us my children can go with us to have better education. Pls I Ned street advice is it worth it for Us to resign our jobs. My husband n I decided that if d two of us cannot go together then it’s better we don’t go at all so d option of only one person resigning is out of d question.. I don’t really know about Canada accepting unskilled workers can u pls shade more light

For this, I would advice you don't go. Had it been you had a PR Visa, then take it, but for a visa with renewability conditions, please don't try it.

which civil servant work pay 260k in Nigeria, are you permanent secretary or director in the ministry.

You don't deserve my advice because you are a liar.

As one time accountant in the civil service, I know their salary structure.

My husband n I both work in an agency and not in in d ministry where d take home is low besides I said d take home of my hubby n i is 260. Though personally I do some side jobs so Mr accountant in d ministry u may not know as much as u claim. Guess who d liar is

Madam, how are you sure your visa will be renewed? How can you verify that there's such job waiting for you guys? Read my lips, you'll regret quitting your jobs and migrating to Canada. Single people find it so hard when they migrate with visit visa let alone you guys migrating as a family. Who is receiving you guys at the airport? Did the agent tell you where you guys will stay for the two years? How you guys will handle bills, feeding and your kid's school? This is what I tell people who wanna rush out to obodo oyibo without proper plans. First of all, think of how you will survive if you quit your job in say Lagos, enter bus and alight at Abuja with no job, no home and no where to go.
Best option is to let your husband go and see how things work over there first. He shouldn't resign before going just in case. He can take leave or go awol for few months and send his resignation letter later if things go well over there. He can come and pick you guys later but two of you quiting your jobs for something you're not sure of will come with massive regrets especially when kids are involved.
God bless you sir..

I think with the LMIA the employer will need to show that the company can’t find anyone suitable for the Job in Canada. I don’t think IELTS is required if it is an Employer that is bringing you to Canada. But be sure You get it right before Heading North. You guys haven’t gotten the Visa yet right?

You are Right, but Trust me, it must be a Highly skilled job as Canada needs skilled workers, a lot get skilled while inside Canada and not from Outside of Canada and it depends what type of Work it is

I think it is a Scam, if a Company will be Gettingbyou LMIA then it better be a big company and one that can’t find the employee for the said job in Canada, visiting visa don’t come with work permit, except it is the Express Entry thing. If you come on a visiting Visa then I don’t know how you can be granted a work permit as work permit is only given to those who has Status in Canada aside being a Visitor

The probability for this travel been fake is extremely high. Pls and pls be very careful. Hungery lions are everywhere right now. I don't think it will be easy to relocate to canada based on the level you narated above.
As a professinonal you don't have to be lazy, take strategic steps to verify everything by yourself and don't ever give any money to the said agent. make a research on canada website and you will be more informed about this issue. Most importantly don't resign from your work now.
Be bold enough to ask necessary information. You are still a boss to the agent now, immediately you paid, he/she will become your boss. so do not leave any stone unturn. May the most higj God see you through. Be prayerful so as not to make a big mistake.

Oga, i appreciate your concern but it is very possible for a Nigerian to have a company or an organization and want to recruit you from Nigeria. My neighbor did the same thing some time ago.

Unfortunately, this is sounding more and more like a scam. If he truly has a company over there, he would know how difficult it is for Canadian employers to bring in foreign workers. They have to literally prove that no one else in Canada can do the job. If he truly had jobs for you, he would advise you to go via the official immigration process because he would know that a job offer can be made to someone who has gone through that process and qualified to immigrate. He has not told you this because there is no such company as he described and quite plainly, he is planning on scamming you. And, I apologize for bringing this up, but bringing in a foreign worker from Africa in the manner you described just does not happen. Two ways this will play out: he will either keep asking you to pay more and more money, while spinning all sorts of stories about why the documents are being delayed, or he will have fake visas placed in your passports, which will be detected at the airport and get you turned back, and also almost certainly prevent you from getting real visas in the future.
I apologize if this is harsh, but you do not have to let yourself be taken advantage of. You are a trained professional. Do the research on how to immigrate based on your skills, whether to Canada, Australia, New Zealand or other countries which have programs for taking in skilled professionals from around the world. It will take longer for you to go through that process than for you to hand over money to this individual, but that is the only way you will ultimately get to your goal.[/quote]

Hello, I am a Nigerian living in Canada. I am actually a Canadian Citizen. It is possible that it is not a scam, however, the likelihood that you will be doing menial is very high. Most times these kind of jobs can be tough and pay less relative to the cost of living in the area you will be working. You can ask for the wages of the position and the job description. If you know the location, Google the cost of rents and general cost of living there(just search apartment rent in the name of the town/city). Include taxes, see how you fare.

In a clear times, it is very likely it is a labor job. Also, be aware that there is no guaranty that the Visa could be extended, you might be able to apply for PR afterwards though.

I was forced to write this piece in case it can be beneficial to you and others. I think most people living abroad and those people in Nigeria commenting are either not sincere with the truth/reality or they don't actually know. Life in Canada is not rosy as it is portrayed! Some might think that I might be saying this because things are not alright for me, praise be to God, I think I been lucky.

Canada welcomes many highly qualified immigrants, so competition is extremely stiff. As a result of this, I have seen some Nigerians who came here and later decided to go back to Nigeria to take the position/job they left but the jobs were gone. This is a reality!. Then I see most people migrating to create a better future for their children, while this seems reasonable. I really think people going for this reason really need to think critically about it. The chance of kids becoming morally bankrupt is high, remember you can't discipline like you will do in Nigeria. Even the quality of the schools(especially primary and secondary) is not too good. The kids will also likely face racism like you too will face, racism is real my friend.

In conclusion, before deciding to go or not go. Please think critically and seek God's guidance. God has knowledge of today and future, and he knows the best for you. I wish you good luck in your endeavors.

I advise that u travel to Canada for Vacation. If u leave, u would not get ur entitlement from Government. U re in Level 10. Please don't leave certainty for uncertainty at all.

My mum's friend absconded from the Civil service, which means no retirement benefits for her. She travelled ND was unable to have much abroad.

Now, she is back in ñigeria after many years.
If she was patient, she ought to be a level 17 officer now...
She is back with nothing.

You should travel for vacation and return...
Work here and save, so u can secure ur kids a better future.
