jowhyte: Travel history is very important here Travel to any schengen area or some part in Asia before reapplying to Canada. But wait you paid $700 for the conference You submitted only your business account? But 1.1m is not fair enough for Canada trip. Closing balance is also very important Finally your ties is somehow weak. Canadian embassy hardly issue visa on virgin passport they do only on a very very good profile |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by NeyofeedNigEnt: 12:18am On Mar 23, 2019 |
Princess080: I don't think applying with this same profile will fly. Travelling with all your children might not fly What will be your home tie? Canadian embassy has no regard for those countries listed above as travel history. Why not apply alone first or you try to visit any of the schengen area |

NeyofeedNigEnt: OK but pple travel with their family on vacation without travel history and were given visa. But all d same will still give it a trier by following d online route before thinking of elsewhere for vacation . |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by ifegy: 5:48am On Mar 23, 2019 |
jowhyte: Sounds like you've got quite a few issues with your application. If someone signed you up for a conference you knew nothing about, with an organization that even to you seemed 'strange', provided payslips from the organization while you are a business man who works for himself not the organization (and remember those payslips are not going to tally with the bank statement you handed in), then they basically submitted fraudulent documents for you. The refusal means this was likely detected. That is a bigger problem than whether or not you have traveled before or have 'home ties'. Unfortunately, you are responsible for whatever was handed in to the High Commission, not whomever did it for you. 8 Likes 1 Share |

NeyofeedNigEnt: Nope my savings account as my business accounts don’t always have good inflow and outflow but my savings . Was advised by the agents not to let the available balance be more than 1.5m between 1to 1.5m |

ifegy: (and remember those payslips are not going to tally with the bank statement you handed in) You are right as this got me worried right from the day I submitted my application as my bank statements never showed any transactions taking place in Lagos the location that was used as where I worked. Cos I leave and do all my my things in another state not Lagos where they claim I work and receive salaries. Please what’s you guys suggestions for me going forward and reapplying again how soon should I? And what other things should I do? |

I received the below mail yesterday please what can I do... I applied with my family 'n I have UAE resident visa where I work as health and safety professional.. Thank you for your interest in visiting Canada. After careful review of your temporary resident visa application and supporting documentation, I have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). I am refusing your application on the following grounds: I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit. I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence. I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status. + + + + You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements. All new applications must be accompanied by a new processing fee. Sincerely, IRCC Nairobi High Commission of Canada to Kenya www.cic.gc.ca |

jowhyte: @the bolded was very wrong See what agent are causing. But why running savings account for business? That account is very weak.... Do you submit your business papers? If so company account is also very important. If you wanna reapply DIY and go through this thread all information u need is here. |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by ifegy: 2:06am On Mar 24, 2019 |
jowhyte: Sir, trying again to get a visa should not be the main concern right now. You may have received a ban for misrepresentation due to the fraudulent documents submitted (remember, you are responsible for any documents put forward in your name). You should probably look into how to get what’s called the ‘GCMS’ notes on your application (detailed reasons behind your refusal) and review them. You will need to have someone in Canada get them for you. If you choose to go ahead and reapply, you’ll probably waste money. Any information you submit will be compared against what you previously handed in. 1 Like |

Hello all, I am gainfully employed and also have a registered business. Do I need to put the company account in my application if I will be sponsoring the trip with my personal funds. Also, if a slightly huge amount gets into one's account, even though there was a description by the sender. Do I need to write explaining how the money came about? Thank you. |

Hello House, I was sent a mail asking for my passport. I did an online application in Abuja last month. I am currently on an official assignment in Lagos. Please I want to know if I can take my passport to the vfs center in Lagos or send my my brother who lives in Abuja to help me with the submission and collection of the passport? If he can, what can I send to him apart from the letter and the passport? Thanks while awaiting your responses |

Good Morning everyone. I will be going to usa for holiday in june. I want to use the opportunity to visit toronto from usa. I have a valid usa visa, I am about applying for a Canadian visa, however how do i get a flight reservation that can be held for long. Most airlines don't hold more than 24hrs, wakanow holds for just 2 days. I have also booked my return ticket from usa to nigeria. my plan is to visit toronto while in the united states and go back to united states, then come back to nigeria Anyone who has gotten their TRV, how did you reserve your flight? Thank you |

Good morning my people.Pls can i apply for a Canadian visa with a virgin passport.I have all other requirements but no traveling experience. Thanks |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by OmoBendel24: 10:25am On Mar 26, 2019 |
Blackfinegirl: Worry less.... Just do a flight or bus reservation that will be valid till at least the time you submit your application, it's just for the purpose of showing your itinerary to them. Most weighty is that your paid-for and valid NG-US return ticket, ensure it is submitted alongside your application. All the best! 2 Likes 1 Share |

Now, I am pregnant and would like to birth my baby in Canada. Please here are my concerns 1. Can I apply for tourist visa and indicate that I am going for child birth. My second baby. I intend to ask my doctor in Canada to send a support letter. I will also book hotel and flight in advance. Please is this the right type of visa? 2. I want to apply here in Nigeria but what if they are still with my passport by the time I need to travel to Nairobi and other countries. What do will I do? 3. Can I apply from Kenya after settling in. I have a work permit. My family will relocate with me except hubby who will be in Nigeria. Will be it wise? Apologies for the long post but I need to explain my situation so the advice I receive will be useful. Anybody with a better idea , kindly suggest to me. God bless you all |

Good people of nairaland, Please I have a question. I was a student in uk . I was doing my ACCA in london. My plan was to do MBA after ACCA. I came home for summer holiday in August 2014 after my acca, and i got a job in Nigeria. September 2014,I sent a mail to my school to defer my admission for MBA because i got a job in nigeria, and they deferred it and also informed the home office that i am no longer a student. The school advised I leave the country within 7 to 14 days, and I told them I left the country in August before i even deferred my admission. please note i left uk august and i deferred my admission September, so I was not in UK when I got that mail. I also got a curtailment mail from UK Home office. The issue now is that I am applying for a canadian visa, and i was asked if i been ordered to leave a country? Do you i tick yes or no I will appreciate if someone can be of help |

Good morning guys, please I need your warm advise. I was denial a USA tourist visa in 2016 along with my wife. The agent that assisted me with the tavelling process urge me to reduced the DOB in my int passport which I did from 1986 to 1982 in other to have a better chance of getting the USA visa then. But I was denied the visa eventually base on lack of travel history. Now I discovered that my parent who who is a regular visitor in Canada had once include my normal data into their application when they applied then. Now that i intended to apply for Canada tourist visa, I was advised to correct the int.passport DOB to normal in other to be in this same page with what my parents wrote in their application then. Now my question is, Do I ve to indicate in my canada application that I was denied by USA? If yes, i hope they won't cross-check the information which might bring out the discrepancy in my DOB? Hope it won't led to mispresentatiion which might warrant ban? Please ur swift response is needed.... THANKS 1 Like |

inspector1:I believe the US and Canada share information. I am very sure the US has found out about your alteration. Canada will most likely know you applied for a US visa with a different age. |

In that case boss, what do you suggest I do ? Should I maintain the present DOB and reapply for US Visa before coming back to Canada? |

Chijudy: @Chijudy, 1. Ask on here https://www.nairaland.com/1346880/giving-birth-canada/106 2. I'd suggest you do an online application. That way, you won't have to drop your physical passport, it will only be requested when your application has been approved. 3. I believe its not a bad option too. Just that your home ties won't be as strong as if you were to apply from Nigeria. Personally, I'm more inclined towards applying online from Nigeria. Best of luck. 2 Likes |
