Every body is entitled to is way of dressing, so don't think we are going to allow the Muslim go on naked, without proper package. We the Muslims are not made up of children of jazebell but children of dominion interms of dressing.

It's not that simple.

To you "the practice of religion" may well just be an holiday, to be optionally taken or bluntly forgone.

To others, "the practice of religion" is the essence of their existence, of which (without) they may not consider life worth living.

Imagine the "rights" fought for and most times won, by gay groups, nudist group, and several other groups of similar ideologies.

Why then can't a practising Muslim demand for her right to keep her head sacred in accordance with her religious prescription?

please try to always think and evaluate dimensionally. One angle perception is deceptive.
The solution to that is very simple,if u want your daughter to be putting on hijab, take your child to the school that allows it,u can force a school management to change their rules just because of your belief.

There is no doubt that Christian fanatics like Oritsajafor, Oyedepo & some other members of CAN of worms hate Muslims & they are daily scheming against Muslims. We are watching and Federal Govt should come in, in line with the constitution before it is too late. Any attempt to victimize the Muslims in their father's land will be seriously resisted. Muslims youths are watching CAN of pulpit thieves & adulterers victimising innocent Muslim girls.

Bruv what are you saying? If a girl wears hijab, does that mean she would understand academics?
The statement I was saying which u really don't understand before attacking me is this.
Hijab must not cause commotion in a nation where we have several religions. Must the Muslims force hijab to be introduced in our educational system? Some children may put on hijab but wouldn't still understand what they are being taught in d school.
The solution is this, u can't force a school management to allow your child with hijab,go and enrol your child in a school where hijab is allowed, hijab or no hijab shouldn't cause wahala in our nation. Do u now get it?

I'm not denying that fulanis didn't commit some crimes in farms around the West.

Still they have no logic to influence terrorism in SW simply because of how Yorubas value peace in family and communal relations irrespective of religions and dialect differences within them..

More over, MURIC agitation for the use of hijab in schools is the right of Muslims girls which enshrined in Nigerian constitution but schools can also has policy of their own and that's loop hole of constitution because that didn't directly clear in our constitution.

Please quit prophesy of calamity while warning is better instead.

My position on Islam is that Islam is a religion of Terror and I will not like to dialogue with you on this matter. Quit terrorizing the world, those who are desperate to practice Islam in an extreme manner should make it a priority to relocate to Saudi or Egypt just as we Christians migrate to USA UK Australia and many other Christians established country.

Nigeria is not an Islamic Country

Schools have no moral right to stopping the Muslims to wear Hijab as far as it does not cover their uniforms. This calls for serious reforms in our Schools.
Re: Islamic Group Attacks Buhari Govt Over Position On Hijab by cjvirus: 12:04pm On Mar 27, 2019
Hmm.. Nija and religion! Even in so many schools or government bodies in the north wearing Hijabs is not a right nor compulsory thing. So why in the SW? I would advise him to also cry for approval in the SE/SS as well. LOL
Very soon he will propose that all male student must be allowed to put on the Mallam-cap over the heads and carry a fulani staff, and females wear the all covered hijab even over the face during Documentations for Saudi trips, and writing Examinations home or abroad.
We Nigerian should not allow our so called religious extremist (whether Christian/Muslim) to Lure us into Religious hatreds, lies, violence, envy, brainwash, mishaps, etc., Note that the True religion is between You and Your conscience.
God help Us...

Personally, I think there are more serious and pressing human rights abuse cases that a group such as MURIC can use its platform to shine light upon. I do not think the use of hijab constitutes human rights abuse.

Though.. I dislike arguing on religion but I'll reply you due to your abusive response while I'll use this forum to let you aware that you're full of bias and your expression pictured your prejudice to Islam and Christianity to you has no traces of evil by some of Christians around the world.

I'm a Muslim and I am proud of it any where any day because I'm not a terrorist and your ugly remarks about Islam can't change my mind and other Muslims in Nigeria and around the world.

Terrorism is not peculiar to any religion or race because it's an individualistic or groups issues and bad ideologies carries out by heart of hatred and evil against others, before you argue go and do research and verify it.

Hijabs in government offices and schools will prevent the security personals from differentiating a suicide bomber terrorist from unradicalized Muslims. So why should we put the wearing of Hijabs ahead of of human life’s.

Hijab wearing is a culture based on the weather and customs of the people who wear them and not a religious pattern of dressing until lately.

Refusing people to wear their clothing in public institutions is a human rights abuse. Wearing of hijab in public spaces and institutions is protected by the law, if you then refuse people from doing so, then you've overstepped your bounds.
Re: Islamic Group Attacks Buhari Govt Over Position On Hijab by kayjay69(m): 7:35pm On Mar 27, 2019
I repeat refusing people from wearing hijab is not a human rights abuse issue. What constitutes and is generally accepted by most as Human Rights is defined by the UN, feel free to check their website.

Now if the law protects people from wearing hijab, then you may have a case against whoever tries going against such. But then I ask what law?

Also, to the best of my knowledge I dont know anyone who was refused wearing of hijab in a public institution?
International School Ibadan is not a public school by the way, it is private. You can check on their website.

And the fact is I dont think these female students have at anytime complained that their lack of hijab has hampered their studies or has made them lesser than they are. This brouhaha around this came from a couple of parents who I am guessing are sponsored by MURIC or people who have parallel interests with MURIC. This has never been an issue, everyone got along fine before now Muslim and Non-Muslim. So I ask why now? Why not let sleeping dogs lie? What is the point you seek to prove? Why not think of the larger ramifications? I guess not. I really think this is an overblown thing and MURIC intends to stampede it's views on others not minding who gets hurt along the way.

In my opinion, these are non-issues. When they do decide to raise important points, they'll have my support.
