I see nothing wrong about Etebo's statement. It is the desire of most parents that their offspring should excel beyond the parents achievement. Everbody knows that the name RONALDO is a global brand.

That’s because deep down inside of him, he knows he is a failure when it comes to achievements in football. Almost all Nigerian and Africa players, play for money and not the game.

You are wrong. Etebo has very low self esteem. If Ronaldo was his best friend, it would’ve been excusable if he named his son after his best mate but here is a man who is lacking in self confidence and belief in his ability. He was only hero worshipping a fellow footballer.
If Nigeria was to play Portugal, I wouldn’t field him if I was Rohr, Etebo would only be happy to run after Ronaldo, touch his sweaty shirt and feel very happy and he would be the first to rush the man after the match to exchange shirts.

He is not a man. If I was that little boy, I would feel very ashamed. The boy should be named little Etebo or Etebo junior not little Ronaldo.
