3. I hope you are aware that the bible uses flowery speeches reserved for poetry, proverbs, and prophecy whereby only those initiated into the inner mysteries can understand.

Lots of the teachings in the Bible and those of Jesus are esoteric but can also be understood in their lesser esoteric forms.

In other words, doing take all of the bible literally, especially Genesis, The Creation story, Revelations and the four Gospels.
