Having pets while we were growing made me and my siblings animal lovers. I can still recollect picking up a baby lizard when I was around 6/7years old. The lizard had dropped its tail to escape, but I thought it was wounded and was feeling pained.

So I kept it somewhere safe and went to look for a tablet of painkillers. After arguing with my siblings how much dosage we should give it, we settled for half the tablet. We grounded it into powder, mixed water with it and forced the mixture into the poor thing's mouth. I wrapped it in some bits of rags to keep the cold away and checking on it periodically to see if it was getting better and if the tail had grown back. #sigh
