I'd much rather samsung's new experience skin, but EMUI to me is far better than MIUI. Huawei has a ton of good options and I love their single button navigation.

Overseas is cheaper than on ground, but it's pre paid, delivery is about 2 weeks with freebies.
The one on ground is standard packaging and its 220k
.. Payment on delivery is available depending on location

Well in truth Huawei is regular with Google security updates, but slow with overall system update. My previous Nova 3 had a cracked screen, and was updated to Android P before i ditched it. I bought the same model type (i love the Nova 3) and there's still no update to Android Pie. Nova and P20 Pro are practically the same save for the cameras (same SoC, same CPU/GPU, same memory and storage, same networking, Nova 3 has more resolution and slightly bigger screen, also has more screen to boody ratio, as well as an infrared face unlock camera which the P20 Pro lacks. )

I was thinking of the Xiaomi Mi9 Explorer, or the Mi Mix 3, but i'm seriously thinking of saving up for the P30 Pro.

All this is to say Xiaomi is a very good product, though with a messy UI, but solid build. However, they don't place as much priority on camera as Huawei does: Xiaomi is all about lowering costs while Huawei is a bit of a premium thing.

Well Huawei is famous for their iconic and elegant designs and also a top alternative device to Apple and Samsung. To help you decide which Huawei phone to buy right now, visit iprice.ph.

If you're not invested in iOS, avoid it. Trust me, the only iOS devices I never owned are the iPhone 7(+) and iPhone Xs (Max).

P20 is aging a bit, if you're thinking of Mi8 might as well buy the Pocofone F1 by Xiaomi, almost the same thing as the Mi8 for about $300. Nova 3 is a good buy if you were considering the P20 Pro as it's almost the same thing but less and a bit better in some ways (similar to the Mi8/Pocofone scenario)

I've left the lifestyle of spending 300k+ on phones only to see them go obsolete less than a year later when consumer products like gaming consoles and laptops last at least 5 years. My gaming PC runs on a 5th Gen Core i7 and it plays modern games just fine (1080p).

SO be wise with your money, hang around the $300-$400 range, at most $500 and save yourself something to splurge on something else, or as savings towards the next phone investment.

I just saw your full reply thanks

OK bro.
What I want to ask is this do you think it's worth it to spend extra money for the P20 pro?
I heard the nova 3 charges rather slowly how long does it take to charge, how good is the battery and display in terms of color reproduction does it support private space how is the overall experience compared to ios?

Finally how good is iPhone x battery life?

Nova 3 is a pretty good buy unless you prefer Leica cameras and 40Mp as found on the P20 Pro. I'm not really a photography buff so 20Mp serves me just fine. The Nova 3 has dual selfie cameras and take very good selfies, with the added benefit of infrared to face-unlock your phone even in darkest of the dark. The P20 Pro charges a bit faster, but both use fast charging, and the Nova has about 250MaH less battery. The advantage that the P20 Pro has is being AMOLED, while the Nova 3 is LCD....but a damn good one too! Yes it has private space and applock as well, as well as guest mode.

I've used a 128Gb dual sim iPhone XR, i got bored. Android has reached a stage where the UI/UX is in some places even more superior to iOS but thiscan be subjective. EMUI especially 8 and above really make android quite enjoyable beyond stock android.

I strongly advise it. You're not missing much, and the trademark huawei purple hue is more resplendent on the Nova. Check my pic where i set it by my iPhone X posted earlier.

It also supports google ARCore for your AR shenanigans, same as Apple's ARKit. The camera has a range of AI and AR features.

I concur with u on spending much on Gadgets but Hey P20 pro can't be compare with Nova 3 Forget about the same SoC......There is something extra in it......since when have been using Honor despite Falling Nd bad dust everywhere I never had any scratches or broken. Screen....Some brands do Brag that their Phones can't break even if u smatch it on the ground ..... Believe me Huawei / Honor don't brag much but Their quality is Top
