It's still the same thing na, what is fake news here?

I thought they were refuting the claim of the writ of Fifa order.

For those who don't really know the story. Most people don't know shi..t.

Customs aunctioned off Innosons goods without his consent, Innoson took them to court and won them, the court then ordered customs to pay Innoson N2billion from their GTB account. GTB flared up and refused to pay it, then they took the case to the court of apeal, Innoson won, then supreme court Innoson still won. If you noticed, customs has left thw case having being won by Innosom at the High court, they never appealed or anything but GTB being a criminal bank just like most Nigerian banks are carrying the matter ln theit head like bread and butter when the money is not theirs.

If GTB pays, it's not a loss because the money in the first place is not theirs...

All Nigerians should be Happy because rarely can an individual win such a big corporation in such a case. This is to reaffirm our hope in the court of the land.

No some set of people that dont have one naira in gtb are angry and I am still trying to figure out their source of anger.

I have to say I am shocked at the lack of proper education in this country

Innosan is not a law enforcement agency that will start sealing Gtbanks branches all by itself

Even if Gtb were to refuse to pay as stipulated by the Supreme Court judgment, there's still a legal option that innosan will use to collect the money.

Innosan cannot take law into their hands

GTB is a public liability company.

Thus, incase the GTB doesn't have the money to pay, they will file for a bankruptcy which will prompt the organization in charge of Debt management in Nigeria to take over their assets and sell them to raise money.

So it is a process, None of which have happened yet. Still, some people still believe that Innosan possess the power to close Gtb banks by themselves.

We're in a lawless country, with a set of individuals, who are ready to push d law to its limit!

I expect innoson to be sued n probably jailed! He's gonna lose this, by how much is what we wait to see.

Saraki, Dino, Onnoghen and several others, have pushed our laws to their limit n beyond. The Judiciary, has been a disgrace.

GTB should simply pay the money to Innoson in compliance with the court judgment. The money is NCS money not GTB’s. If by some default of GTB NCS had been allowed to withdraw the said sum from its account with GTB too bad for GTB. It won’t lie in the mouth of GTB to say so! GTB is deemed to have NCS money in its custody and must pay or have its assets become objects of writ of execution until the entire sum is in.

So GTB said if they pay 8B on behalf of customs they'll go bankrupt?

They denied the news entirely before, now it only affects Customs.
It doesnt affect gtb as an entity, they will simply debit custom's account.

The problem is the accrued interest on the 2B which amounted to over 6B and GTB is liable since it was the bank that appeal the judgement.

Chibok people once said "it's impossible!" The final stage of enslavement and subversion of Chibok has finally been achieved yesterday. They are fast strategically progressing down South. When will Igbos and Yorubas get sense?! History has proved that the deserved great future and freedom can never be achieved unless they first unite. Yet, the enemy that wants to enslave them and their unborn generation has mastered the act of keeping them distracted from the urgent need to unite. 2 Southern Brothers that celebrate and fight over crumbs and leftovers from those that plunder their 86% resources. Neither Yoruba nor Igbo grabs 86% of the Trillions that enters from Lagos Seaport and SouthSouth Oil every time, you know who. People in West and East, would soon helplessly cry for help but it would be too late because they selfishly cowardly wasted the opportunity to fight back before being cornered in. I'm shocked at the myopia and gullibility of Southerners. Since, you've refused to timely unite and stop the evil plan, weather Innoson, GTB or anything you are boasting of shall be destroyed by your advancing lords when they fully arrive.

So if they have confirmed that the Garnishee order is legal, why have they not paid? Why are they dragging this out?

Because they have a pending case with Innoson.

Hence, the reason Innoson need to get his money because he knows what GTB is on about. Ask yourself, why will GTB be protecting Customs fund? This is a Tier I bank with a team of experts people. They have a serious case against him.

You are the one without sense and you claim you are a scholar. What is the court's business with CBN? Scholar, please go and do more scholastic digging.

Don't mind the sureheaven. That is how they peddle up false reportage because they mostly run the media and use conjured and flawed thesis all in the name of their self acclaimed sophistication but end up embarrassing themselves. No be only CBN...CNN go join too

Regardless of whatever case they have with or against him, if the Supreme Court has ruled that an account should be garnisheed and they should pay, they had better pay up or be in contempt of the court ruling.
