The fact that he sat for WAEC or not is not the question, the ruling was based on the fake result he submitted.

Is the result you are talking about and the one he gave INEC fake or not.?

distinguished senator Ademola Adeleke is the authentic governor of osun state . Appeal court will affirm the tribunal judgement.

OSUN APC DESPERATION AND BLACK MARKET JUDGMENT

Osun APC deserves a condolences messages, they are making every efforts to purchase a judgement against elected and declared by tribunal court as a lawful governor of Osun State, Senator Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke (Imole).

Before September 22 governorship election in Osun State, there was a subsisting judgement delivered by Justice Oladimeji @ Osogbo High Court which ruled that Senator Ademola Adeleke is qualified to contest the election, Wahab Raheem and Adam Abeeb who filed the case failed to appeal the judgement before election, the case was struck out completely.

Immediately after the tribunal judgment, Osun APC through their pseudo agents Wahab Raheem and Adam Abeeb took the same case that have been struck out in Osogbo high court to Abuja high court and successfully purchased a judgement to stop the moving train of Senator Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke.

Did Abuja High Court have jurisdiction to hear this case that have been struck out in Osogbo high court?

In their thinking, they want to achieve 3 things "EMBARRASSMENT" " CONFUSION" and DISTRACTIONS.........., It will be difficult for any agents of darkness to achieve this against Senator Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke.

Whoever plan to block Ademola Adeleke or plan to Frustrate him, Almighty God will disgrace them publicly (AMEN).

There's a difference between having WAEC certificate and presenting a forged certificate to INEC

The court did not rule against him for not having WAEC certificate, they ruled against him for giving INEC a forged certificate which is against the electoral laws and the constitution.

Learn how to read and comprehend.
you have a brain problem here cos' you still never learn. Distinguished senator Ademola Adeleke will be victorious in the appeal court and Supreme Court.

The judgment is purely a script that was acted out... It will not stand the true test of justice in any court of law!!!
The judge ignored many evidence that were tendered before it as exhibits that Senator Ademola Adeleke does not know anything about the forgery matter... And WAEC as the only authorised body by law to issue a WASCE Certificate has come out to show to the world that Ademola Adeleke has a result and the copy of the authentic result was issued to the public(alongside a press release)... And WAEC also came to that same court to testify too.
Furthermore, last year the court of appeal upheld the eligibility of Senator Ademola Adeleke to contest the gubernatorial election of Osun state in 2018. Again, the just concluded Election Petition Tribunal Court of Osun gubernatorial election-2018 also upheld the eligibility of Senator Ademola Adeleke to contest the gubernatorial election too.
Even by virtue of the provisions of section 177(a-d) of the Constitution of Federal Republic of Nigeria(with particular reference to subsection -'d' of the above reference), Senator Ademola Adeleke is evidently qualified.
This newly conjured judgment is an absolute miscarriage of justice with a deliberate attempt to mislead the public, discredit the eligibility of Senator Ademola Adeleke and concoct a false mandate on Gboyega Oyetola.
We have done the needful by heading straight to Court of Appeal and also ask for a stay of judgment in this regard too.
Tell our people to calm down because there is no iota of reason to panic or lose any sleep over this matter. WE WILL WIN AGAIN AT THE COURT OF APPEAL... WE ARE BRINGING THE MANDATE HOME SOON!!!
Aluta Continua, Victoria Ascerta!!

Justice Musa said while the court’s findings showed that Adeleke entered secondary school in 1976, there was no record to show that he actually graduated as his name was no longer seen in the school’s register from 1980.

He further stated that the result Adeleke attached to his form CF001 which he submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) was fake, as it was found to be different from the one presented to the court by the principal of Ede Muslim High School, Ede, Osun State.

Can’t someone drop out of school and then go back to take external WEAC which is equivalent to finishing secondary school?
The issue is not about him finishing secondary school or not but about him presenting a forged certificate to INEC which was different from what the school he claimed to have sat for the WAEC tendered.

It's amazing how these court cases drag on. What's so difficult about this case? If he graduated he should present his diploma and transcripts. If he lost them somehow the school should have it on file. I dont know how these cases make it up multiple levels of court

The truth of the matter is that man does not have a WAEC Cert.

It is not about finishing secondary school, it is about being educated up to Secondary School Certificate level. If you never went to secondary school and have an authentic GCE certificate, it is assumed you are educated up to Secondary School Certificate level.

KarlWhyte:
Justice Oathman Musa of an Abuja High Court sitting in Bwari Area Council of Abuja on Tuesday Nullified the nomination of Senator Ademola Adeleke as candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in the September 2018 Governorship Election in Osun State.

Adeleke, who represents Osun West Senatorial District at the National Assembly was the PDP’s candidate in the 2018 governorship election in Osun state.

Two Chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Wahab Raheem and Adam Habeeb, had in 2018 barely few days to the governorship election in Osun State had dragged Adeleke to court, accusing him of not possessing the requisite educational qualification (secondary school certificate) to contest for the office of governor.

They prayed the court for an order to disqualify Adeleke from participating in the Sept 22 governorship election in the state on the grounds that he does not possess the requisite educational qualification.

Delivering judgment in the suit Tuesday, Justice Musa annulled Adeleke’s nomination on the grounds that Adeleke offended section 177 of the 1999 constitution as amended. The section stipulated that candidates for the position of governor must be educated up to secondary school level.

According to Justice Musa, while the court’s findings showed that Adeleke entered secondary school in 1976, there was no record to show that he actually graduated as his name was no longer seen in the school’s register from 1980.

Justice Musa further stated that the result Adeleke attached to his form CF001 which he submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) was fake, as it was found to be different from the one presented to the court by the principal of Ede Muslim High School, Ede, Osun State.

Meanwhile, Adeleke’s lawyer Nathaniel Oke SAN has faulted the judgment of Justice Musa on the grounds that the judge erred in law by going out of hiy way to source for evidence to arrive at his “unjust conclusion”.

He submitted that the court erred particularly when it ignored WAEC evidence that Adeleke was educated up to Secondary School level as required by law.

. Having certificate that is not useful now is better than not having certificate that is very necessary. Adeleke s case is a lesson for those who leave undone what they should do educationally.Some don't even bother to write SSCE now and they have money to do so. I know they will cry for it later as Adeleke is now.This is a case I have been following and it is clear he will lose at appeal and supreme court too with all evidences against him.

Sorry to say, but you are missing the point. Adeleke never presented any certificate, what he presented was a statement of result from Ede Muslim High school, which the court found to be fake. Having a statement of results does not necessarily mean you have a WAEC certificate. The issue is that can WAEC issue a certificate to a candidate who only sat for one exam and got an F9?

Lawyer must chop. The lawyer conveniently left out the word CERTIFICATE in his arguments.

This is what the Nigerian constitution says;
To be elected as Governor of a State in Nigeria, one must fulfill the following requirements:
He must be a citizen of Nigeria by birth;
He must have attained the age of thirty-five years;
He must be a member of a political party and that political party must have sponsored him; and
He must also be educated to at least the School certificate level or its equivalent.
