No one is above the law, what is good for the goose is good for the gander.
Onnoghen is an established criminal and should be given the appropriate treatment to serve as deterrent to his biafra brothers in crime

Honestly speaking APC is evil. The type of wicked politics they have brought into the system will hurt this country for decades.
I read the submission of the CJN in defence of those petty allegations, and I wept for this country. His defence was comprehensive with verifiable facts , highly logical and reasonable, and you wonder why the executive will even initiate this process in the first place.

Now look at the rubbish being written up there. Look at how they put it "
The opening of a dollar account in Standard Chartered Bank for the CJN by a lawyer, Joe Agi, with $30,000 was said to be unhealthy."
First of all this simply a domicilliary account that commoners have these days, is what they are making an issue for a CJN having.

Secondly, look at how they are making noise about $30K, while Osibanjo has such account with a balance of $900K , Osibanjo that was a mere commissioner for justice compared to the CJN?, Hypocrisy.

What I am sure is the evil politics being played by APC will still turn back and hurt them, Rochas and Amosun can attest to that.

Osinbajo is a big boy, forget his height. Also, he declared all his money which the CJN didn't. Add that to the fact that his fellow justices have found him guilty

Why is it only Tinubu's Nation newspaper that is carrying this FAKE NEWS?!

So as NJC forwarded their report secretly to the President, they also release it to only Nation newspaper?!

Besides, when someone retires with full benefits and retain his seat as former CJN, it means that nothing culpable was found on him!! Any lies the Nation Newspaper and BMC are painting around him will not stand!

We are all not gullible as zombies!!

The journalist that wrote this is trying to paint the man guilty. EFCC has not been able to prove it's case, this news would be debunked soon, if the man was guilty he would have taken a plea bargain before even thinking of going to court

It is ironic that the NJC is relying on allegations from EFCC to make judgement. The last time I checked, Judges do not act based on mere allegation. They subject the allegation to scrutiny in a judicial process. I believe this news is fake.

The word "incontrovertible" is what I do not understand. The CJN explained this, the Bank Statement was made available in the Court and the Registrar of the SC and the bank Staff were interrogated and gave credence to the CJN's claims. Then where comes the "incontrovertibility" of the allegations?

Or is Onnoghen guilty as charged?

Tinubu's thenationonline has started another round of lies against the CJN.
Where is the millions of dollars found in the CJN's account?
See how they've carefully rehashed allegations that d CJN has previously responded satisfactorily to and the cashier + the chief registrar corroborated?
Funny how same ppl are constantly being used to undermine the South.

Na Nigeria we dey oo my brother. within a blink of an eye, everything can disapper. never trust all these government people. CJN has successfully covered his tracks. He is a smart guy

Tinubu has started with his propaganda outfit again!! Nobody has ever sanctioned The nation for hosting fake news for fear of tinubu.

NJC knowing EFCC has taken the matter to court and the fact that it was still at CCT trial, kept the report from the public eyes to avoid disturbing the outcome of the trial, now only the nation waka come dey spread rubbish.

When even the CCT has uncovered that the only $500,000 found in his bank was a loan from his bankers....

I pray God will reward all these fraudulent people trying to assassinate this man's character "bountifully" in their own coin...

Are you minding that trashy paper media agency? What they are doing is giving possible solution to the public and see what the reaction will be like on behalf of their party. If it is well accepted, the work in that direction and if not, if the public opinion is not good enough, they try something else.

Onnoghen is clean and he hasn't done anything out of the ordinary. Whatever the figure is, its not as bogus as they claim it to be but they already made the mistake and they trying to justify with any little fact they can get. It would be impossible for Onnoghen not to influence his future judgement because of the murky waters he has been through, in the next four years. So he has to retire however, so should be for the tanko too.

Nigeria is trash under this government and posterity will never judge them well.

The NJC members are all afraid of what Buhari can do to them if they go against him, that's all. Even the dullest Zombie creation knows the CJN is innocent but in Nigeria, politics takes precedence over justice.

When the Judiciary have nothing to loose they give a sterling judgement but when there is a subtle treat they play smart. The very moment NJC waited for the outcome of the election to conclude I knew the outcome already. If Buhari had lost, Onoghen would have returned.
