Clever by half, having billion dollar in the account is not the problem, the problem becomes what's the source of the billion in your account. The problem becomes why did the ex CJN refuse to declare such money in his account. Osinbajo didn't hide the money in his account when he became the vp. The problem we are having in the country is majorly from people like you. You are here defending the Ex CJN with million of undeclared dollar in his account of which what you will eat this money is yet to be known to you. Lazy youth, to you Osinbajo was a mere commissioner. Perhaps. you didn't know Osinbajo was a senior Lecturer at University of Lagos for many years, Lazy youth, you didn't know Osinbajo was a practicing lawyer for many years which earned him the SAN. PMB was right to refer to you as Lazy youth

Your Osinbajo earned $900,000.00 plus other assets as a lecturer and practicing lawyer?
How many major cases was he involved in?
You guys are always clever by half.
Keep deluding yourselves. Fact is Osinbajo worked with Tinubu to loot Lagos state blind. Please tell us another story.

No length these ipob yoots won't go to defend corruption.

I guess Tinubu also owns this?

Which corruption?!

The lie you just lied is corruption! You, Ngwerekwenu, is even corruption personified! A notorious one at that!

I restate that I am fully against all the lies the Nation Newspaper is spinning here to make the man look guilty and convicted! We all agree that the man is not coming back as CJN; But looking at the recommendations that the man retains all his full benefits shows that the man was clean and acquitted!

Truth cannot be hidden! Very soon the full report of NJC will be released to the public to dissect!!

Honestly speaking APC is evil. The type of wicked politics they have brought into the system will hurt this country for decades.
I read the submission of the CJN in defence of those petty allegations, and I wept for this country. His defence was comprehensive with verifiable facts , highly logical and reasonable, and you wonder why the executive will even initiate this process in the first place.

Now look at the rubbish being written up there. Look at how they put it "
The opening of a dollar account in Standard Chartered Bank for the CJN by a lawyer, Joe Agi, with $30,000 was said to be unhealthy."
First of all this simply a domicilliary account that commoners have these days, is what they are making an issue for a CJN having.

Secondly, look at how they are making noise about $30K, while Osibanjo has such account with a balance of $900K , Osibanjo that was a mere commissioner for justice compared to the CJN?, Hypocrisy.

What I am sure is the evil politics being played by APC will still turn back and hurt them, Rochas and Amosun can attest to that.

Why can't this man just join APC so that we can have rest of mind in this country. Everybody should join APC so that there won't be corruption in Nigeria again.

No my father is not in law profession. He died a successful building engineer. Most of the buildings he built for his clients are still lying stronger over 35 years of his demise throughout Nigeria as of today. He didn't rub Peter to pay Paul while he was alive, hence his name open doors for me among his numerous clients as of today. Can you be proud to tell us who your father is? And what does he do for living , if he has any?

Whether a billion dollar or a million and seven hundred thousand dollars(which is the actual amount the EFCC found in his dom account) is not the issue. The issue is how a CJN that earns between 700k-800k per month will have such in his account and moreso, did not declare it. Nigerians should stop defending wrong because they have party affiliations. What is bad doesn't have two names-It is bad. This same CJN you're here defending was pencilled down to be sacked in 1993 by Abacha when he was a high court judge in cross river and it was on accounts of corruption. He had to connive with those like him in the NJC and they promoted him to an appeal court judge immediately just to evade the termination of his employment. Onnoghen already has a history of selling justice to the highest bidder and those in the legal circle know this.I usually get tired of reading comments on nairaland when I see people defending corruption and it's even more bitter when they are not benefitting a dime from it.

As always peddling lies from Lagos Ibadan expressway.
Which billions were found in his account? Even as the account officers came and testified about it that the Federal government has to stop calling their witnesses because their witnesses were embarrassing them with facts.
EFCC was even desperate in the search for billions that they have to go and search his farm records illegally, and later denied ever going there becAuse they found nothing.
This is the reason why the EFCC has been winning more cases on the media becAuse of twisted facts that cannot be substantiated, and they expect reasonable judges to rule in their favor.
Where is the 55 houses you people said he had, go and look at his defense with logical and credible evidence, where is the account statement to show the billions? You think if there is such found in his account the EFCC would not have published it by now?
Yet somebody carried money with two bullion van violating the Anti money laundering act in fullest, and you people did not see it and comment, Hypocrisy runs in their blood

These are the issues Onnoghen is facing at the CCT. Let the CCT conclude and decide Onnoghen's culpability or otherwise.
The NJC's recommendations are too late, too little and useless. Since the matter is already in the court, let the NJC keep quite and allow the court to convict or acquit Onnoghen. After that we can now talk about the next thing to do.
