Let's leave that.

If he is innocent, the court proceedings are covered.

FG's prosecutor obviously backed out from disgracing him in anticipation that he will follow this path.
lol check online. all the allegations against him. he defended all of them. and the FG backing out is coz they lack evidence to prosecute him

Result of following Biafra advice instead of listen to voice of wisdom from Femi Falana. He finally resigned and case still outstanding.

Hope you didn't cut a deal with Babachir Lawal?

Hope you didn't cut a deal with Maina?

If two bullion vans had driven into Saraki or Uche Secondus house, hope the EFCC would have looked away?

See ba, what goes around, comes around even if it takes 50 years.

I'm only bleeding in the heart that finally they succeeded in stampeding this man to resign.

Oh someday....
so, you wanted him to continue?

You dnt understand the politics.

If he was innocent of all charges, he would be reinstated.

Presidency need 2/3 of the Senate to remove him. They can never get that.

NJC will never recommend retirement.

If he was innocent he would av allowed NJC sit on the issue a long time ago before everything went crazy.

By now I expect Yoloba Muslims to be tired of pushing Onnoghen issue to FP. The Govt failed to nail him, the case turned against the Govt and now they are doing damage control even when the man decided to resign when the ovation is in his favour

See NJC or no NJC.

If he was innocent, he can stay cos the Presidency need 2/3 of the Senate to remove him.

The president can never get that.

As for charging him before election, he can be charged any time. It is better before election so nobody can use the information in the public space as leverage over him to get injunctions that can cause trouble.

The next turn of events on this issue will determine whether Nigeria is a failed state or not. If Onnoghen is not prosecuted to the end, then the country is a failed state. The reason is because every judge will now have the backing for collecting bribes to upturn judgement knowing that whenever they're caught they'll be given a soft-landing just like Onnoghen. This is the main reason why the NJC is pushing hard for the executive to give Onnoghen a soft landing I. E retire him with full benefits.

Its so painful. They destroyed his career too. After building a career for several years, reading , researching etc, then buhari and cohorts without primary school certificates will now sack a professor.. I love a line of ur statement 'even if it takes 50 years' karma will come to them

FG didn't even know anything. The reason why the search light was beamed on Onnoghen was because he was seen in Dubai with PDP stalwarts in the last quarter of last year. What kind of CJN is that?it was a mole in the PDP that alerted FG on this. They quickly commissioned the EFCC to do some quick investigation and it wasn't difficulthe to find him guilty.

We the SW will never be in alliance with political novice and criminals in the SS and SE. You can go and die with your 5% inconsequential votes.

Go and read about the true case of babachir lawal. Besides, Tinubu having bullion vans in his house is nobody's business cos the revenue he gets from Lagos state alone in a month is more than the allocation lagos state gets from FG. Unlike kwara and rivers that have little or no IGR.note that I don't mean that Tinubu embezzles Lagos IGR. I mean the money he gets from his companies that manage some revenue generation streams like the tollgates, some markets he built on the island etc.

My dear friend, when the North deals with the South, them go hear am. Instead of them to choose a liberal Atiku, they voted for a despot. Soon, pmb will deal with oshiomole, tinubu, amaechi, u name it. And then they will hand over to a Northerner. They have already started hinting that power is not coming to the South. Fuel will be increased. In fact they will mess d economy up further. They have nothing to offer. You can't give what u don't have
Mark my words...these things will unfold

I'm gonna be laughing at those active naira land supporters of APC n Bubu..

Correct! That is all they wanted all are long. Who among them is not corrupt if checked. They refused to follow due process in removing him. It is NJC that supposed to recommend his suspension or removal. Executive has achieved their target of stopping Onogghen from appointing presidential election tribunal members

this is the presidency you are fighting with. they own the Media, they own the forces. you think is easy ride for him even if he's innocent. which according to witnesses and bank account release by these bank, against what he was accuse he will always be a criminal in the public eye.
