There are 320 and 318 they both have 2 ltr Engines 4 plugs
What models do the 318i and the 320i come with respectively. I tried searching for 320...I could only see 2012 upward. I'm sure the prices would be on the high side. Would appreciate 2005 to 2008 models to reduce cost. Thanks!

Not at all, they are all three serries.
Just look for any 3 series, but the 4 plugs are more popular in Europe than America.

328 is a big Engine ie 6 plugs, so you know the score. When it comes to 6 cylinders, fuel consumption is not an issue

Hello Beemers,
I intend laying my hands on BMW for the first time as I am fascinated by the deign and performance of the German machine. I want to buy a 2004 330i from a friend @600k. He said the engine has been worked upon.
Please I need your advice.
Should I go for the car?
If yes, what's the average maintenance cost for 200k salary earner in Kogi state.
What other BMW options do I have with a 600k budget?

With that, I'm sure your choice are limited, but on the flip side, see how much a used Engine for that model would cost, cos you might have to change the Engine
Re: BMW Owners' Forum by alphaNomega: 6:50am On Apr 13, 2019
You friend should let you know what kind of work was done on the engine. Is the problem fixed? Are there new problems like loss of power, oil consumption, smoking exhaust, overheating?

You might want to negotiate lower so you have extra cash for a new engine if the need arises.

Is there much real world difference between the fuel economy of e46 325i and an e46 330i? Anyone here experienced both?

I earn less than 200k as salary and I've been using my BMW 325 2002 model for 5 years now. But I think the price your friend intend to sell his car is on the high side. Considering the fact that, the Engine has been worked on.

BMW is a performance machine, you will never enjoy the worked engine untill you replace the Engine. Your friends car with the present condition of the Engine, should not cost beyond 400k.

Hello guys. I just got a 2005 BMW 525i. Everything works perfectly. However, the dashboard reads "service engine soon." Do I need to run a diagnostic on the car using an OBD?

Also, the display screen shows a warning about restraint system or so I thought.

PS: This is my first experience with a german car. I don't wanna screw anything up.
Please help a brother out.

Nothing bad in them but if you get the 4 plugs is a bargain since you are more fuel conscious.
PS 9ja used or direct imported?

No nothing is wrong with ur car, it needs the service light to be rest, there is a resetting tool, I'm sure a good garage near you will have one.
