Am sure most people even within the APC are not happy with the impositions.

It doesnt take much in Nigeria for promising careers to suddenly hit a barrier but those who assess their position and are able to patiently wait for opportunity to cross over the barrier are true heroes....many are consumed in their rush and obstinate self-drive to tackle the barrier head-long that they end up forgotten.

Ali Ndume is risking his career in the APC.

He should be allowed to contest since he’s qualified to. In as much as I support consensus building, a recalcitrant and strong headed person like Ndume should be allowed to satisfy himself. APC should not lose a sleep over him. He will be put to shame at the end of the day.

So where is the ladder of growth? Who is the CEO of the company?

This is a National position backed by the constitution for crying out loud

No he should not be allowed to contest. These guys spent years under PDP behaving anyhow and abusing the party.

Lack of discipline led to nPDP and you saw how it affected APC. No more of that bullshyyte in our Assembly. We the people thumbprinted ballot for APC, our contract is with APC and we want APC to carry out its obligation to the people. Fire any person trying to usurp party power and revoke their certificate of return. End their career in the Assembly!

What are you talking about? Does the APC have a future? After Buhari, APC is automatically dead! So Ndume is being wise. Better to fight for what's on ground now than to wait for what would never materialise.

The position belongs to the Party, not the Constitution. What the Constitution has done is narrate the framework on how the position is occupied. The Party does not deny that, what it is asking for is a consensus before the deed. Thas all!
