Anambralstson: These buildings go don taya with the number of camera flashes it takes everyday. Na like Anambra ritual to take pics of these same buildings by every Easterner. I can get why you guys are proud of it. But let's call the facts what they are. Anambra is an economic underdog and these buildings should be upgraded to museum status. We should call this area Anambra Museum for tourists 2 Likes |

kayfra:Your first two pics are refuse dumps not where people live. Third pic is a road under construction, drainage already dug and people crossed with planks. These are normal things. We are talking about shanties and slums caused by poor housing in afonjaland. Spot the difference 9 Likes 1 Share

Anambralstson: You are posting our old inner cities we built way before the 18th century and before colonialism. We'll keep the character intact for tourism and proof of a long term urbanized living long before oyinbos came and while you guys in Anambra were swinging from tree to tree. 1 Like |

kayfra:18th century? They are alk 20th century colonial era building. Ibadan was established in mid 19 century as refugee camp for people fleeing from caliphate invasion of oyo empire. There was no ibadan in 18th century. Ibadan is not an ancient city. We also have old colonial era buildings with brownroof but we keep renovating and changing roof or knocking them down for new ones. This is Aba. See the old brown roof buildings being replaced with modern blocks if flats. Yours is simply a case of poverty 6 Likes 1 Share

Anambralstson: But with no proof and no existing structure to show its an older city. When I go to Greece, I visit the ruins. When I go to Rome, I visit the ancient sites. When you go to Ibadan, you head to innostraight to eat Amala and Abula in our ancient inner city. When I head to Onitsha, I get lost in a refuse dump 2 Likes 1 Share |

MXrep:Ibadan isn't one of our oldest cities. Both Ibadan and Abeokuta were established in the early 19th century. 1829 for ibadan to be exact. |

kayfra:So you don't even know how centuries are counted. FYI 1829 is 19th century. Secondly by 1829 onitsha was already a thriving commercial centre attracting traders from Nupe, igala and Benin. Finally ibadan was flooded by refugees fleeing caliphate invasion around 1840, before then it was a village 2 Likes |

I live in lagos but I travel frequently to anambra. I can tell you that lagos is doing very poorly compared to its revenue. Lagos State is 80% rural and 20% urban. The comparison is unfair. You should compare lagos to another african state with the same population, seaport, airport and revenue. You'll understand that lagos is doing super-poorly. 4 Likes |

MXrep:See illiterate o. Lmao Don't come and disgrace your generations here. Look at someome accusing of not knowing how centuries are counted. "The 19th (nineteenth) century was a century that began on January 1, 1801, and ended on December 31, 1900. It is often used interchangeably with the 1800s, though the start and end dates differ by a year." https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/19th_century Olodo 1 Like |
