We recently got a report of someone whose ECA was done by WES but had his completed ECA show that indeed his school is not recognized even though they collected the fee o. So I guess it will be best to try evaluating with some other body like ICES to avoid stories that touch. You can send ICES an email before you start the evaluation. It has also been confirmed here that getting your school to send your transcript to them via the school's official email kind of makes the evaluation a bit faster. @topsmamen na your input remain now o. All the best. rs172: |

majamisile:Thanks very much for the reply, I'm aware of the situation of the not recognised institutions, which made me send a private message to wes on Twitter asking if my school is recognised by them, i have also pmed worldcitizen1 so we can have a chat, I'll still keep on researching and I'll also do as you suggested. Thanks once again But i still need people's say on my problem |

rs172:Actually, WES is not the only accredited body that does credential assessment. I suggest you reach out to ICES/IQAS by sending emails to them and confirm that they can verify your educational credentials from your school before you proceed to send them your documents for evaluation. |

Check your WES profile after 2-3 days, your profile will change to "We received your documents. We are reviewing your documents". That's exactly what happened to me. Mine was sent twice and they only acknowledged the second one after 3 days. samsonedos: |

Good afternoon guys,(silent reader) Congrats to all the PPR clinchers and thanks to everyone here for information sharing. Please i have a question: AOR was January 10th 2019, as at then i had 11 months validity on my International passport. Based on my cic profile supposed completion date is July 10th but my passport validity will be 5 months by then. So, since i am not sure when i'll get PPR, i was thinking of renewing my passport and raising cse to inform them to be on the safe side. But i was told by an immigration officer that i wont be able to renew my passport if it has over 6 months validity. That means i'l have to wait and hope PPR comes after 15 June, because it looks like i cant start the renewal process until then since the passport is to expire on Dec 15th. i would really appreciate any ideas on best approach in this case? Thank you |

Peece:You could still make use of your current passport if renewal is going to give you unnecessary stress. Someone on the sister thread said she was able to land in Canada with a week to passport expiry date. You still have a choice to make though but that's my opinion. |

Hi all, i evaluated my bsc with iqas but i am thinking of writing CIMA certificate level to claim 2 or more degrees. As we all know, its only WES that evaluates certificate, would i be able to combine both iqas n wes for he claim? |
| Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 7 by Vincad: 3:33pm On Apr 12, 2019 |
Pepperb:Yes, you can combine them. There's a guy here who said he did that. It's on page one. |

Don't worry about probabilities. You can get PPR by next week or way after July. At six months validity, go and renew your passport. Worst case, you get PPR and submit passport. If you get another passport, you can land in Canada as long as you submit both passports to the immigration officer at the POE. Peece: |

Whao!!thanks a whole lot for more clarity. That means getting a new passport after the former has been stamped doesn’t automatically cancel the former passport? All I need to do is show both to the immigration officers at POE as adviced. joo2018: |

Please house, at what point exactly is the proof of funds for express entry needed. Is it during the EE profile creation/application or after the ITA? |

If your passport will expire before your medicals, you are likely to get an ADR for a new passport. But once you get a visa, the visa remains valid for Canada. "Visa officers will not put a visa in an expired document and will not issue a visa for a period surpassing the expiry date of the passport or travel document. Occasionally, documents containing valid visas are cancelled or replaced. If a valid visa inside an expired document is presented at the POE along with a valid passport or travel document, the visa is considered valid." Section 13.18 Valid visas in expired passports of the ENF4 Port of entry examinations (You can find it online. Linking pdfs have gotten me banned before). Peece: |
