if you had said that the 'Nigerians recent mass immigration to Canada through US border' is the reason for these denials, i would have excused you! please, don't pass wrong information in public.

Dammilekan:
people saying home ties are weak is annoying it the v.o decision not ties that all...... Trump said he doesn't need people in america, that america are full he is into anti immigration the consulars must have made a meeting and they must give consulars more blue papers than white papers......... If you don't know something don't guess

Hello people, just recently started following this thread.
Please I need your help, i want to know my chances of getting visit visa. Before I thought it would just be the interview but I know more stuff now

I'm 17 years old studying international relations and diplomacy 200 level in Benin Republic. I've also been to Togo and Ghana for excursion .. My uncle wants to sponsor my trip to any country of my choice as a gift for my 18th years birthday. I'm so excited. I live with my family and they approve. I chose USA because it's a really popular place and I'd like to be in new York city. I want to travel during my holidays and my school registrar is also giving me a letter. Please what are my chances of getting the visa. I'll be 18 by August.
Hi ma'am/sire.

If they have weak ties, almost 95% won't get the visa, no be by force to visit U.S and also you won't blame the consular for being patriotic to their country which to them is everything and they're not planning to run away from.

Is she the only consular in Nigeria? No and I'm very sure she won't talk about the gray area, mind you Quora is not that big in U.S or Europe, I believe it was developed by Indians and I'm sure she won't denied any applicant with a very strong ties (I mean very strong ties).

And who said i haven't paid and done all that, it's not a must to reply everyone on nairaland when you don't even know anything.

Quit lying you wrote It up there before your little crooked self edited it. You are too young to be deceptive .

Again, until your family gathers that 64k, make the payment and you stand in front of a CO your chances are a big zero.

Guy!
@bolded is very wrong saying that to your fellow human being.

What you wrote up there is rubbish and too abusive...... Take note

Mr Oluiya,
I cannot teach you comprehension but let me break oyinbo down

He wants to know his chances of winning the lottery without playing a game. I told him it is zero until he puts his coins in the slot and pick numbers

Then he told his fellow human being "he is rude " and his fellow human being replied.

You get it now?

This post should help you comprehend. There is basically no difference in both comments

What are my chances pls? This is my 4th us visa and 3rd drop box renewal. My first us visa was issued in London. I was sent a 221g paper and asked to book an appointment. I am married and my husband also has a us visa. He travelled with it in Jan and spent 2wks and came back. I am travelling alone to spend 2weeks in Florida. I have no family in us (filled that on the form right from my first visa). I have quite a good travel history. Have 2 schengen visas and 3 UK visas (I studied masters for 1yr in the UK). Note: I am not pregnant. Please guide me on how the interview goes and why I was given the 221g paper. (The paper states I should just come for interview. No aditional documents required).

What are you talking about? The reason they invited her for interview is because she's applying from a different country from where she got her previous visa.

I believe the VO taught the reason for your travel didn’t seem genuine which was caused by your husbands response. He said your daughter is a fan of Disneyland but you guys were visiting NY. There is no Disneyland in New York. He could have said we’re going for a family vacation and would be visiting some relatives and would also travel to Florida to visit Disneyland so my daughter can see what it looks like.

Good day house, been a silent reader for while n made sure i read through this thread frompart1to 4..had our interview 26th and i was heartbroken! We were at the embassy before 2016, let me just explain what i can rmber about the 2016 interview ....we are a family of 3 (hubby, myself and then a 3yr old daughter. Reason for denail in 2016 was because we haven't travelled out of nigeria as a family b4.....personally i have been to dubai about 4 to 5tyms (buying n selling) and nairobi about 3tyms ( whenever i fly KQ i stopby) then ghana for a frnd party....hubby has been 2 dubai too 3tyms and also had a 2yrs contract wit a company (Residence which expired almost 2yrs now)........so last year we decided to visit jo'burg and also nairobi as a family. ............

So we decided to try US again for easter holiday here goes d transcript
Vo.....morning
Us.....morning to u 2
Vo......so why are tou going to us
Hubby....we were here 3yrs ago and got denied and we promised our daughter we'd come back wen she is 6 coz she is a fan of dianeyland ( in my mind i was so angry coz after reading here i jotted some possible question felt d ans should av been ....for short fanily vacation and because we filled new york in or form!
Vo.....just kept typing for too long n said going to new york?
Hubby....yes, so so new york
Vo......continue typing for too long, did a facial experession ( might meant nothing though
Vo.....sorry blah blah
I was super angry at my hubby for a minute buh then why d vo ask only asked 2question na? and our status has sha change......so here is my worry....1. Why typing so much?...2. My hubby thinks becoz out of a family of 6 (my cousins in US) na 1 whom i am close to i always fill in our form, should that be a prob? P.s...we wont be staying with that my cousin because he is single n stays in new jersey, thats why we choose new york for our holiday, which is 53minutes drive to NJ from queens court NY.......We would try and visit Europe for easter hopefully and may revisit Us december, and thinking i should include all d member of my cousin family in the form? N ll change location to orlando. Thanks in anticipation of ur insight............

Yes please do as that information would help in the future. You would get an automated email but I promise you that it would be on the records. My sis in law did and that information helped them give her children visas as the VO confirmed it

Please I have a burning issue. When I applied for America visa with my family i was asked if my wife was pregnant to which I answred no cos she was not. We got the visa. Fast forward to a year after she is now pregnant and wants to give birth in the U.S and has not been to the U.s before should we write to the embassy to inform them of our plans or should she just go since she has a valid visa already

Are you the VO
Did you even read what she wrote at all? With her history, her chances are high.
