My worst phone experience was when an engineer spoilt my phone. I only went there to change battery connector but he ended up tampering with the panel which rendered the phone useless. I still curse him in my heart whenever I try to load a website on this phone I am using now and I get a `This page cannot be opened'. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Everyday, whatsapp will tell me it is updating, few weeks ago, my phone had issues, I did a factory reset, reinstalled whatsapp and all my business chats were wiped. Last time it updated was sometime in 2017. I am still very angry |

My own is the battery, when it went off after mistakenly sending 'fucck you' to my biggest client. Wow, I was like it is finished. I needed to run from home to aboki place to charge cos there was no light. I quickly deleted the message, thank God it was on WhatsApp and not text message. 12 Likes |

BlackBerry Bold 5! that phone was bold to a fault; it was so bold it developed a mind of its own....it switched on when it liked, switched off when it wished, died and resurrected at will.....in short, the phone was a spirit! Never mind that I changed all the components asides the phone's frame. that phone did to me what APC government is presently doing to Nigerians; suffering and smiling 27 Likes 3 Shares |

My worst experience in 2013 was going to obasanjo shopping complex in Minna to repair Nokia C5 mini. It happened that I was apprentice then with my uncle who sells electronics. He sent me to carry our goods which just from Lagos via minna. I used the opportunity to go and repair the phone with hope that they have not offloaded the goods. Men the trouble started when the started repairing the phone and it took almost 2 hours... The goods was since offloaded and my number was off, my uncle came to the scene and was worried what might happened to me... I nearly piss on my boxer, till today I still wondered how I told him that I lost the phone in taxi and was waiting for the man to return back..... Many more experienced, but since I bought tecno l9 plus, I have nothing to worry again over a year now.... 6 Likes |

I once removed the charger head of one of my sister's phone cos it was faulty and charged directly. Mhen... the phone got fried and everywhere was just smelling cookies. I bought one fairly used phone back then at Ladipo and I regretted I did. Seems it was Sony Ericsson that year, I can't remember. It worked fine there but on getting home after rejoicing I got a phone, it stared malfunctioning. I never understood that I should never let the battery die. After I drained the battery just after 11 days of usage, the phone refused to come up even after charging for hours. Mind you, I never let it run out of power for those first 11 days but NEPA did their thing and eventually it was lights out for the phone. The charger, ear piece and all became a waste as I couldn't resuscitate the phone. What a waste! I've lost count of the numbers of phones I misplaced or got stolen from me. I'd attribute them also to my carelessness at times. I've lost different phones in the cab. Gionee, itel, Samsung note 1, Nokia C3, BlackBerry Curve, BlackBerry Z10 and Q10, the list is on like that. Like three different phones were stolen in the laboratory back in school and I also lost two during my clinicals. But the most recent was last year December 7th on a Friday. I just took a slight nap at the reception as I covered for the receptionist who quickly went on an errand and a patient walked in and stole my infinix hot 6 and and BlackBerry Z10 (Yes I love that phone). I woke up looking like a fool when I discovered the phones I kept just beside me were gone. Thank God all lost phones were not the very expensive types (iPhone comes to mind here). The fear of loosing them has always made me go for less expensive phones. I've been very careful with this Xiaomi I'm using presently. Story of my life 15 Likes 3 Shares |

Mine is two different experience that happen within this month of April My itel 1508 was stolen on the 24th of march just last month while I was sleeping outside my hostel due to the heat.it left me frustrated, depressed, devastated and frustrated. Then I have no other option but to withdraw 23k to buy a brand new techno F2.Another big issue started which was the Android OS consuming my data like a hungry lion. I did subscription of 1.5 Gig but with 6 hours the whole data was gone, I check my data usage and discovered that Android OS consume 95% of it. I did all the setting I could do still no solution in fact I gave more than 8 computer guys who were extremely brilliant still no solution, before I knew it tears start rolling from my eyes, my life was now in a state of pitable dilemma. Then last week I just log onto my quora account and share my problem and a software guy from Singapore told me to download an app called DATAEYE from playstore and use it to control my usage. I did exactly what he said and to my utmost surprise the problem is solve, my data now runs at a normal rate. It was then I knew the distance between quora and nairaland. 43 Likes 6 Shares |
