Ever since katakatastreet.com launched, I have not been enthused to visit nairaland.com

The comment section here has been dull. There would have been a wonderful comment section on katakatastreet.com, but the site is not optimized for mobile.

If this site is optimized for mobile , the visitors would definitely be much more.

Apart from writing and posting, I do everything else on the site using my mobile device. All my comments are posted with my mobile and I registered on disqus using my mobile as well. I know many others who use mobile as well. Will appreciate if the tech savvy guys in the house can advise in simpler terms in case I'm missing something.

Centino, you can test Your Site Using Google’s Mobile-Friendly Tool( https://search.google.com/test/mobile-friendly)

Disqus is an awesome commenting tool many websites use nowadays. If you are an avid internet user, you want to register on it coz you will be able to comment on many sites with just that one registration. I felt same way too till my developer convinced me. I was wowed when I read an article from an American site and I thought to comment and voila! there I was signed in on Disqus because of my Katakatastreet.com registration and two weeks after I'm still getting email updates of other comments on the topic from around the world. It's not that difficult man. Don't let the rest of us that have done it feel special.

well done sir. this is great...but looking at the screenshot, there is a page loading issue. You can click on the page loading issues....and have your developers look into it.

We want katakatastreet as perfect as it can be.

The problem with disqus is it doesn't work with 'non JavaScript' enabled browser like opera mini.
Some of us prefer the opera mini experience on mobile...data savings and fast loading.

Perfectly fine to stick to what works for you if you can't download chrome. We're getting free basics as well so you can access the site without data. This is still the Katakatastreet official thread so comments here are super valid.

Yes, the site is optimized for mobile. I comment regularly using discus.
