I don't think I've to mention that when comparing teams across Europe, Champions League is the main criteria used. So, United is not bigger than those clubs. Are they wealthier? Yes. But, not bigger.

Since I'm not God or De Ligt, I can't predict what will happen. That's Life. But, the probability he'll choose United over those clubs is like 5%-10%.

In the only competition they play together, Bayern Munich has won it more than United. The 'bigger' I'm using here is based on the clubs current and past glory. The only thing United have over Bayern is Money (lots of it), apart from that, nothing else.

Only Real Madrid can claim to be clearly bigger than Man Utd. Even Barca is debatable.

you don't have a concrete base. MUFC is both bigger and wealthier than those clubs. If it's for UCL trophies, that would mean a club like Arsenal cannot win a player bid ahead Celtic or Steua Bucharest or Olympic Meseillle for that matter. Yes, it obviously sounds like rubbish to me too.

It should not matter so much at this level. It is still in Manchester and there are no fans in the stands to offer home support.
There are a few players here and there that have potential though. Just not happy with the coaching and the general level of play.

City's academy set up has been better than ours in recent years and some of our coaching especially at under 23 level has been poor.
Even our much hyped Gomes and Chong were not as good as Sancho, Foden, and Brahim Diaz if we are being honest.

Current state of team is not the same thing as bigger club. When you want to rate how big a club is, a lot of things come into discussion. Current state of the team is the least of the consideration.

Can you say City is bigger club than Man Utd because of the current state of both teams?

There is no point arguing. United signed Sanchez because he wanted more money. Meanwhile, Fred came after City lost interest and did not want to pay more than his 'value'.

With United's money, it is not impossible to sign him. But with the current state of the clubs, nobody will choose United and reject Barcelona and Bayern Munich. Unless, they are British, or like you said "they want to play in the EPL."

Well, that's how I see it.

trust me another reason most players will choose man u of them is first team playing assurance
who would de ligt bench if he goes to barca
take a look at Malcolm and dembele condition in barca
if a player isn't assured of a place in the first team leave current state of the club they won't go there
thats also a reason why Sanchez and Fred choose united over city

I was watching a clip of pep guardiola coaching a Sunday team football,he drilled them for like 2 weeks and in their next game,you could notice some things...the defenders who tried to play out from the back made so many mistakes,but he still encouraged them,you could see him mark on that team..

Yes ogs tried to bring the boys together and happy and we all know generally on the average there is always an improvement in team play when a new manager is involved....common we should be sincere,there's really no tactical genius in him...I hope we have lady luck with us and do the impossible on winning the UCL,
