You are right mmf is dodgy, they did such to me sometime ago.Infact they were supposed to pay certain amount like today and when the time to credit me came they rather deducted, i made a complaint and it was rectified, since then i only invest shorr term funds with it as i can't been bothered checking on them on daily basis. 234ng44uk: 2 Likes |

Donbrig:You got it right. That is why I advised the guy who I presumed might be a starter. If not that I have huge sum with them, I would have moved my TBills to another Bank. The fear of fear won't allow me to move my huge some to another Bank. Zenith Bank's TBills rate is very poor compare to other Banks. Early this year when TBills was 15%, Zenith Bank gave me 14.25 for my three TBills while GTB gave me 14.65 when the rates dropped to 14.85%. I also have a good sum in 5 digits in a domiciliary account with them, but fear won't allow me to move it to another Bank for any dollar denominated investements. As at the last time I asked them, I was told they don't have any. |

Good morning all, is it wise to convert dollars to naira for Tbills. I have a handsome sum of dollars denominations in my domiciliary account and I'm thinking of exchanging it to naira so that I can purchase Tbills. Someone said the exchange rate is likely to wipe away my profit. P. S this is my first time |

romeoprexx: It's what I'm doing today... Just realized my $ has been sitting in the bank and earning zero... If I had done Tbills a year ago, at least free 400k would have been added to my cash... Other $ denominated investments are too rigid and risky for me... Go for Tbills if you can afford to let ur let ur $ sleep for 6-12 months Best of luck 2 Likes |

BlackAfrican: Thank you, that's true the dollars is just there doing nothing, the bank was like we can convert it to fix deposit for you for 1.05 percent for 90 days. Me I'm like They don't exchange dollars for naira, so I asked the guy in their bureau de change to exchange it for me |
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by TotoNaRubber: 1:05pm On Apr 15, 2019 |
It is better to keep your dollar and probably convert 50 percent of it to Naira n invest in TB. Nigerian economy is in the biggest mess ever, they said the reserves is on $44 billion but Nigeria owe more than $70 billion in bonds, tb, sukuk etc romeoprexx: 4 Likes |

Help. I have some small cash in fixed deposit with GTB. I wanted to liquidate it and switch to TBills as their interest on fixed is too low. The staff I met there tried to convince me not to that I should get my interest on the fixed first. Should I insist on doing TBills or is it advisable to leave it on fixed? 1 Like |
