I Wanna ask, with this Magnus quote " Black Lotus has been in existence for 500 years passing information to generations to generations and have so many branches in the Badlands"

Does it mean the Dark gift just started with Sunny's Father IN Azra or just misquoted words they think their viewers won't notice?

Because using the storyline, they made us to know that Azra are the first people to have the gift till after destruction that made them scatter.

You are just so hell-bent on criticizing the writers that you fail to comprehend logical reasoning

First of all, the black Lotus existing for close to 500 years makes perfect sense because the apocalyptic event which destroyed the old world happened 500 years ago and that was when the first dark ones appeared ( 500yrs ago).

The dark ones are scattered over the world. Most of The Master's Abbots didn't even know shit about Azra, because when pilgrim spoke to them about it, they all looked clueless.
Meaning the dark ones are everywhere and definitely not from Azra alone.

Azra is just a civilization, who had more knowledge about the gift and also how to create more dark ones. For all we know, there were just even few dark ones at Azra.

And how can you even assume that Sunny's father is the first dark one?... Ankara is older than him, even The Master should also be older than him... And these are just the ones we know about.

Enjoy the movie rather than trying to look for flaws in it undecided

The Black Lotus destorying Azra shouldn't even be a debate. It's clear the cult has been around for close to 500years, so of course they know everything they need to about the dark ones.

Been around for 500years, they might even have knowledge on how to turn off the gift.

They also have superior tech than anyone else, or didn't you see the bomb-like tech they used when they went to capture Sunny?

You all can keep looking for flaws in the show, Nonsense and ingredient undecided

They should change director. The directors from Season one are not the one in charge of this new episodes.

All the people rating this new episodes 10/10, Have you ever asked yourself why the show was canceled?

I hope you won't say the show was cancelled due to drop in ratings?

AMC the walking dead, fear of the dead etc has far dropped in ratings yet they aren't cancelled.

AMC should tell us the truth, either they are broke or clueless

Bro. That plot is easily understandable compare to others. Azra just started creating dark ones not everyone in that place had the darj gift.

It's just like Pilgrim and his disciples right now. Only Pilgrim and the 8 harbingers possess the dark gift. Even though they are other warriors Living with them.

Sunny's father ( in the flashback) was surprised Magnus had found out about them. Magnus and Black Lotus Cult isn't just fighters. They are warriors who dedicate their whole lifes into eradicating the world of the dark gift.

I believe this plot can be pardon for AMC as opposed to much worse plots.

You have a point. Although, I didn't really see anything special in those black lotus fighters. They were just looking ordinary to me.

Maybe I expected too much from them

No ooooo. You got it all wrong.

Magnus didn't say the Black Lotus Cult have branches all over Badlands. He only told Sunny that Badlands isn't the only place where they are dark gifted ones.

The dark gifted didn't first start with Sunny's dad in Azra. At least AMC didn't say the first place it started. Magnus said he with the help of Ankara had found a place (Azra) where they (the Azra people) had found a way to create dark gifted ones.

Azra isn't just a place in the Badlands you could just walk into. They were hidden from the rest of the Badlands. Remember, Sunny's dad was surprised when his men brought Magnus and the other two Black Lotus Cult member saying he found them.

They (Magnus and his guys) had a scroll with them with directions written on it about Azra.

Magnus and Ankara found that scroll together at the monastery or Ankara did most of the findings. The thing is Magnus deceived Ankara into believing he was also looking for sanctuary. Ankara never knew Magnus was going to destroy Azra. She taught he was on his side and together they had discovered a safe haven (Azra).

Chill bro. No need to be hot tampered. Life no hard reach that level.

I can't say for everybody. But me am not looking for flaws in this series. Na the flaws dey look for me.

All what you said up there are valid and well articulated. But let's not act as if the second half of the season 3 isn't crap 'compared' to season 1 & 2.

The plots got more silly and s-tupid at least for me. grin

It was obvious that they were rushing to end this series. A lot of things were just skipped.

For me, the introduction of the sister was a dud.

I was watching the whole thing like, "Really??"

And they left that Black Lotus boss alive o, not like he escaped or something.

At that moment I could hear Nursery 2 calling me to comman start life afresh.

Same here, whole thing went sideways pretty quickly after The Master vs Pilgrim fiasco. Hopefully things pick up. I don't want to go into the semantics of meeting sunny's sister and how she was such a let down. And if truly she was brainwashed and isn't just a dunce or very stùpid, then she shouldn't have turned on the Black Lotus so quickly and easily, especially given how powerful she was and how quickly she dispatched them.

So you mean you get power like dis since all dis years and you didn't even try to escape? Sister sister, you really try. These are why they say you shouldn't meet your heroes.

These are just my thoughts on ITB.

How on earth did magnus destroy azra?

Well from the looks of things, we will never know
To answer this with my own knowledge, i think magnus used Ankara to defeat them. If u remember Ankara was narrating how magnus used her to sunny nd bajie

No. I don't have any information on the map. Neither do you. From the subtitle Bajie didn't say they have numerous branches. Maybe they do. But it didn't say. The map could be a map of the world in the series.

For example, where the River Kings sold Sunny to in Season 2 it wasn't in the badlands but maybe in that map. Stuffs like that.

Thank You bro. The way they introduced Sunny's sister was very dumb. Like what they fvck she doing with Black Lotus Cult. She's a sex slave for Magnus despite how gifted and strong she was.

She looked scared as Bleep when Magnus kissed her and treated her like a whor-e. It took Sunny how many minutes to convince her what she should have known a long time ago.

From her fight in that Black Lotus Cult camp, it was clear she could beat all those cult members yet she was there all this years. Am sure not only Magnus was fvck'n her, other cult members will have their taste. grin

Very disgusting from AMC

That's what AMC did in this season 3. They make you believe someone is very powerful only to get beaten by a mediocre.

Sunny's sister was brainwashed for how many years. And it Sunny few minutes with her to break her. How is it possible!!! shocked

Magnus treat her like a piss of shit and she is this strong and powerful that she could easily break Magnus neck with just one hand. So what's really going on with her?

Most people here don't know how hypnosis and brainwashing works.

You can be brainwashed for decades and something as little as a smell can trigger you back into your senses as long as the positive effect of the smell is more appealing than the negative influence of the brainwashing.

Do you think that the control Magnus has over her can cloud the love she has for her brother.

Incase some of you are just watching motions without understanding English, the chamber Sunny was held in was originally built to contain and break his sister.

We all have our breaking point and we all have our redeeming artifacts.

LOL. Brainwashing works well bro. But how AMC portrayed Sunny's sister as someone who was brainwashed for close to 20 years without visible appearance in the series and also still got her long memories intact still baffles me. Just the appearance of Sunny, not like Sunny did any magical things, changed her mindset. They sucks on that place.

If you are Fan of GOT, You will understand the effects of Brainwashing.

Theon Greyjoy was broken in such a way that he kills his own people to please his master Ramsey Bolten. He even have a change of name (Rick), even sleep in dogs cage. That's to show you the breaking point of someone. Even when her sister came to save him, he was so scared to leave his master behind. It took long intervention of Sansa before little feelings starts coming back.

But Sunny's sister was enjoying life even sleeping with Magnus as you see the erotic display of Magnus on her. Also you should desist from insulting people's intelligence, No one was denying the fact that the chamber wasn't for Sunny's sister.

Lets just say AMC is rushing things to rap it up cause as you can see the events are so fast that will show you the end is near.
