sorry to ask is the thread really helping....

Is the thread really helping? Same thread that has grown in leaps and bounds? Same thread that has helped and solved countless issues as regards Xiaomi devices? Same thread that has openned countless eyes in Nigeria to Xiaomi? Same thread that peeps had to stop adverts just so that we can maintain a definite line of focus? With all the help and assistance that has been passed on here? This same thread? Hmmmm......

Redmi 5 plus 4/64 for sale.
it's working perfectly save for the almost unnoticeable, diagonal crack on the screen which doesn't affect functionality in any way.
make me a reasonable offer and it's all yours.

If this thread is not helping you doesn't mean it isn't helping anyone, you can go ahead to create your WhatsApp group for all I care but the notion that this thread is pointless is very wrong. This all stems from the fact we like being spoon-fed in this country, always wanting the easy way out.

And this is exactly what kallmemrB complained about. You're rather hard on him. We all started from somewhere. Helping someone? I see at as an opportunity. No matter how kindergarten the question may sound.

We all here to learn.

I don't know about others but this thread has helped me alot.
.
It doesn't answer all the question. Don't expect it to do that. If your question can be answered, I'm sure people are dedicated to do just that or to try.
.
Try and put your question so it doesn't sound vague so it's easy to comprehend. Again, don't put all your eggs here. Do your personal research. WhatsApp and discuss with some people for further instructions. Visit YouTube and miui forums. And if your questions are not getting the answers you need, then blame no one, not even yourself.
.
Nothing bad in repeating a question to give it the needed attention. It happens everywhere.
.
One thing is certain, no one is paid to help you. People who do so do it freely and when they have the time to do so. Do not expect all from them and do not think it's negligence if you're not attended to or maybe they feel like gods.
.
You no dey pay them oo..
.
Just look at the questions asked today and see how many has gotten the needed reply. To complain is good, we all do that. But don't make issues bigger than they look or storming in a teacup..
.
Thanks

The image below might be of use for people that think larger screen size equals to larger phone size.
I have a redmi note 4 and redmi 5 plus here with me and I find the 5 plus larger overall than redmi note 4.

The truth is, phones are getting larger everyday and the reduced width thanks to the taller aspect ratio doesn't make the overall footprint of the newer phones similar to the old one, it only makes the phones easier to grab.

A quick check of the weight of these newer phones will show you these phones are getting heavier and unnecessarily longer on every new release.

The first image u see there is Tecno Spark k7, while the second image is my Redmi 5 plus. If u check the height of the first and second , u will notice the second is a bit higher than the first, but the height is hardly obvious.

They wanted to get more buyers by making it a dedicated messaging tool for users of their devices but WhatsApp had other ideas and it backfired on RIM
