Deustchemann:

For your second question, since the booking online doesn't involve submission of admission letter, use any of your choice to attend the interview.

They say that even when you get your visa, and you prefer to go to another school you were admitted, you're free to.

Deustchemann, thanks for the clarification. Please anybody with Visa interview location details for people who reside in Abuja?

Please I have some questions..

1. For some who resides in Abuja, does he still need to do his Visa interview in Lagos?..

2. Assuming I applied to different schools and I get an admission for a particular school and get an interview date, can I change my choice to another better school before my interview date... Because I applied to different schools and I intend to book an appointment immediately I receive admission from any school so assuming a better offer comes up, can I still change before Interview date..

I'm applying for Winter Semester

Please guys, help a brother
For the first question. I haven’t done it yet but a fellow Naira lander shared his testimony about 3 weeks ago and he had his interview at the Abuja consulate.
I contacted him and here’s what told me, which I’d surely do when AL shows.

A response to someone on how to get job after Msc in Germany

These are the following points, I think can help you:

German: You should have a good knowledge of German, you should be able to hold a normal conversation in German and also write a little bit in it.
Internships: After coming here in Germany, you should do some Internships or get some technical exposure. It will help you get to know how things work here in Germany.
Programming skills: You should have good hold on atleast one language of programming. Here almost everyone knows one language pretty well.
Culture: Invest your time a little bit in understanding the German culture and try to mingle with Germans. You need to approach them.

But it states on the website that all student visa requests are to be routed through Lagos consulate except for students on scholarship...if you are not on a scholarship, my understanding is that you’d have your visa interview in Lagos...

Have you checked the ranking of this school in the world?
Guy this school is not even among the first 2000 best universities in the world, better check well o o o.
Why not apply to Karlsruhe Institute of Technology which is ranked 135 in the entire world and by far better and more prestigious than of karlsruhe university of applied science that is ranked over 2500 in the world.

To some, this is balderdash, but I think is important after checking it myself.
I had to check out for my interested school, mehn am not happy with what I saw, 1609
I know Covenant and UI even beat that, mtcheew.
Even some people schools no enter 2700, Heybaby12 Mittweida etc.

I will advise everybody to check career section of your intended course in the university of interest.
It helps you make a better choice of school to finally settle for.

Like that guy that asked question between choosing Freiberg and Aachen university for Msc in Geoscience.
If he looked at the career section of Aachen he would be impressed and would have chosen Aachen without blinking an eye. Now I know part of the reason they are ranked well in the world.

Dont only apply to schools, take time to check the career section and know if the school actually cares for your employability by creating adequate medium for that

What most people on Quora and YouTube say is that Germany doesn’t really care about rankings. No school is substandard compared to others. Just that some schools are better at subjects than others. This can be better at Engineering than another but worse in terms of life sciences or arts. Koko Na to port there, become fluent in the language, hustle, finish with good grades, Secure a job that can give you residence permit, don’t enter crime, file for your permanent residency after about 2-3 years of paying tax and doing everything legal.
If that’s not okay and you want passport then marry!! Preferably a Nigerian Girl who grew up or was born there wink
Cause if you attain passport by naturalization let’s say after spending 5+ years legally and paying tax. You will qualify for citizenship but on one condition. Denounce your Nigerian citizenship embarassed. E never reach that level, so Na to marry sure pass. Then you can keep both
Germany doesn’t allow dual citizenship the only exception are people from the USA

Hmmnnn, I’m awaiting the outcome of a scholarship consideration by end of July or August...That’s why I’m a lil reluctant about applying for appointment as that would sooner or later require blocking of account...I hear it’s hard or near impossible to get blocked funds back...

That said, is it possible to apply for a date around end of july?

They do for people from countries that don't accept their citizens to renounce their citizenship, Iran, Turkey, Nigeria, Syria, Afghanistan etc.

I got an email from Uni-Assist last week that they will be forwarding my application to TH Koln after the evaluation...
And my application status was then updated on their portal: Application has been sent to the university for further processing (or VPD has already been sent).

They also noted on their portal that: If you forward your application to the TH Cologne, you will receive a response from the TH Cologne at the earliest in mid-May. Until then please refrain from inquiries at the TH Cologne.

Alright. Thank you.

The Constitution stipulates the president must accede to it but Nigeria presidents so far don't sign that as claimed by the foreign Ministry, so d accept our reason, is a valid and reasonable one.
Na their savior, aside am, Buhari go sign tire, mine for d road too
