I am not sure we are paying attention to the issues facing the companies in Nigeria. You generate your own light, you pay for your security, you pay all levies and taxes of FG, State government, and local government. This does not include community and various stakeholders. The ease of running a business in Nigeria is burdensome. You will know better when you start a business. As for enforcement, prepare for more disengagments as many toys won't be able to pay...even state government. Prepare also to face removal of subsidy as it is a matter of when not if. Government just gave a reason for that step which would happen shortly.

I understand the burden they face as per power, bad road etc. But government should enforce her laws. Do you know oil multinationals produce per barrel below $20, all expenses included. Yet at $60 they would still cry foul. The same applies to all capitalist.

As per fuel subsidy removal or pump price control and taxation of such products, its a must for government to have good thinkers. Hope you saw what happened in France when her government tried increasing fuel price via the back door. Regulation of a con3 economy it's government's responsibility, so FG should do it wisely. So as not to hit up the country.

I took to Google and saw that their minimum wage is $7.25 per hour. Multiply that with 8 working hours and you get $58 per day, over $1000 per month. It might seem like a lot but the time you remove food, rent, other expenses as well as taxes, there's nothing left to spare. Those living on minimum wage over there are the most poverty ridden just like here.

Hmmm that's why trump is working to increase the pay to $20 per hour. workers in the united state of America are still much comfortable compared to Nigeria workers at minimum wage level. a gate man in the united state is living well and comfortable in United States of America.
