Brown roof slums

It's rather overrated, if even rated at all. These are the brightest areas and it still looks like a village. I've been there and besides states like Kogi, Abia, Borno, Illorin would be further down the list.

Even city like Lagos and Abuja is not perfect and good enough, But Ibadan is a great City and one of the most Developed city in Nigeria.

The only reason why most cities in South West still have brown roofs is because they are ancient cities with houses that were Built like almost 200 years ago and still counting and you just don't expect them to get rid of those old houses and buildings overnight, even United Kingdom still have its old structures till today. People don't live on roof tops and the only damage the brown roofs cause is ugliness of the skyline, but Ibadan have more new structures

If u can survive in ilorin you can survive anywhere. Ilorin is a training ground for future champions. Do the research. Most of our Nigerians great people had history with ilorin.

Ilorin is an ancient city, older than Enugu or Abeokuta but neglected. The city is an appendage of North, its citizens prefer to be Northerners but the North can barely care for itself much more an appendage.

The West does not care to give it inclusion because it does not want to be in West.

Ilorin is stuck inbetween and most often not accounted for, resulting in neglect. If the citizens prefer to be North, then they must emphasize their inclusion in everything North, not just to be counted for religious advantage but also to be develeped along.

ilorin is where the west meet with the norths to trade back in those years, it was a meeting ground for yorubas and northern traders. There are things u don't understand about kwara and ilorin. Kwara is a state on its own while ilorin town is d capital of Kwara state. So as we have ilorin town, there are other popular towns life Jebba, Offa, Omu-Aran, Oro, Share, lafiagi, and others. The indigens of Ilorin are mostly Muslims. Thy have the real yorubas and fulani. U can hardly notice the fulanis among them because they speak yoruba language. I disagree with you when u said ilorin indigens don't marry from outside. Ilorin indigen can marry outside so far you are a Muslim. Mostly they marry people from Offa.
