What happened to this thread? Or are nigerians no longer interested in studying in Bulgaria? I have taken my time to go tru d thread ever since i joined nairaland, and i am interested in studying in new Bulgaria University, but i am somehow confused about getting a job to support myself while schooling , i need someone to clear the air concerning this, some claim there are no jobs, some claim otherwise, dont know wat to believe now even tlkprince sef don jah commot for reasons best known to him, anyone in Bulgaria to clear the air on this before i begin my application?

The process was crazy I left the thread last year and and moved to the German thread..today I am in germany.
Everyone has different countries that seem easy for them. Go to where suits you.

Re: STUDY IN BULGARIA by Iyfeezone: 2:25pm On Dec 25, 2018
Let me start by saying thanks to those who gave meaningful information for school process , visa and rest. You guys are great.for those that said eeeh no job oooh. I laugh you but it’s best to keep silent cos am not here to argue with anyone. What I will say is my life has been more better off than when I was in Nigeria.God has been faithful through out my staying here in Sofia. My advise is just follow your heart and work towards achieve what you want. If I had listen to those who say negative words about Bulgaria I wouldn’t have been here, so follow your dreams. If you never try you will never know. Remember there will always be people who will discourage you it’s part of life. Cheer all and happy new year in advance

As @ 2017 my program cost me 2200 euros per annual but now it’s around 2900 Euros annually. I will also say it depends on your choice of studies.

Just an advise if you coming to Bulgarian with the mind of not paying school after you arrive. I advise you to just stay back home and manage your life. Bulgarian immigration is hitting hard on those that don’t pay school fees.once your school notice you don’t want to pay there will notify immigration. My brother if you don’t have documents it will really be difficult for you. Just an advise

You are coming to Bulgarian as what . Please try to explain your reasons for coming to Bulgaria. You are only entitled to work if you have your residency permit but if you are coming as a visitor bro just stay back home.dont waste your money

Hi Boss
How lucrative is football over there, is it popular among Bulgarians. Am planning on coming over for my football career, to play in a lower division

The football system in bugaria is quite good, but you must be very good to get a place.
I played a little bit before i moved to schengen zone
So, Bulgaria is a good start up.

I thank God for you. Please i intend to apply to a school in Bulgaria. The fees is 2500euro per semeter.
My issue is with embassy, can you please tell us newbites the step by step procedure in getting a Dvisa, from what i have read so far,it is like the Bulgarian embassy is so fraustrating, what is your take. I intend sponsoring myself, is this allowed, and how much is supposed to be in my account when presenting it to embassy.
How long did it take the embassy to grant you visa, what was it like and how is Bulgaria as per good jobs?

Hi Josebriggs, I trust you are going well.so the first step is making sure you have gotten your admission from the school which should include your admission letter from the school, letter from the ministry of education Bulgaria and your accommodation letter from your school.once you have this document you need to get a police report legalised, health insurance (Aiico), passport page, passport photographs and bank statement. If the bank statement is in your name your chances are high 95% especially if it masters program. Visit the embassy you don’t need an appointment date for that. You will be given the application form to fill and submit. It takes 45 working days for your visa D. You will pay 30k non refundable and if your visa comes out you pay 70k to collect it. Best of lucks
