Bro, yahoo yahoo makes it extremely difficult for legitimate Nigerian business men and women to conduct business internationally.
Until recently, most money services (e.g. PayPal) were banned in Nigeria.

I marvel at the level of dedication and skills yahoo boys invest in scamming people (foreigners and locals) only for most of them to hit paltry sums, buy Toyota, rent apartment, then go broke in the exact order.

If the same level of dedication is invested in any other business, you’ll make it.

I wasnt Born into a rich home, my papa and mama no get money, I did my business for 5 years before I started surviving on it and yesterday made it 9 years since I’ve been in same line of businessman doing very well for myself.

All I’m saying is that the fast way isn’t the only way.

It's crazy how people who stands for the truth are being taunted and lambasted for standing for what's right.

But we are quick to embrace the ones that feeds us fat with delicious lies, that tells alot about who we are as a People.

I can't agree less. Most Nigerians are fvcking hypocrites. They are black today and white tomorrow, their moral values are next to nothing, especially this fvcking youths. Today someone will post how yahoo boys emptied his account, next, u'll see people start sympathizing and cursing the fraudsters. Tomorrow they will catch some yahoo boys in action and the same set of mofos will be supporting them by saying they should left alone, cause all na hustle and no jobs. I pray fervently that all advocate of yahoo boys should fall prey to their actions with their life savings.

I belong to one of the crew despite having a laptop and internet to myself I didn't for once tot of cyber crime cos I know it won't last. Here I am today, I walk on the road without being scared of efcc, Sars or whatever u call dem. Am an entrepreneur and I know how long I suffered to get here. Lack of patience, greed and trying to impress is what's driving most guys into it. I have 4 friends that were yahoo guys way back 2006 in the university, bought cars houses and everything they needed. As I speak only 2 are alive and they aren't doing well at all. Naija is just a bleeped country where we hail and celebrate people even without knowing their source of wealth. If anyone ask of their source, u see people term u different names.

a boy in my area here in Lagos has refuse to go to school or learn a skill. he said he is a yahoo boy. d parents has handed his matter to God. they see it as a way of life.

If the economy of the country is really OK, nobody, I repeat nobody will venture into cybercrime, imagine a $100 is being exchanged for N35,000. but imagine a Nigeria where a dollar is being exchanged for ten naira, cybercrime won't become lucrative anymore. and everyone will face their businesses.
