As far as hardware nd software go there ar no differences between the two, including the bands.. The names are different thou. Indian version is Poco f1 while global is Pocophone f1

I'm talking about bootloader. If u update a global rom ota or flash and lock on a locked bootloader of recent Xiaomi Chinese version phone, it'll brick, whether fake rom or original global rom.
Mi 8 Case in point or even Redmi 6 pro.
But anyway u are free to try sha on any recent Xiaomi Chinese version.
Flash global rom on it. Then lock the bootloader. Update ota. Give us the review.

Don't mislead people abeg. So many persons here are using note 5 China version flashed with global rom and they have been updating without issues.
In the past, shop roms won't even update sef, but with the redmi 6 pro, it'll update and brick the phone. But now there's official global rom for the phone. so chances of getting a phone with shop rom are slim.

And to correct you again, you can't use mi flash tool on a locked bootloader.

The process is long and varies per device. Go to www.xda-developers.com search for your device thread you will see the steps. Just make sure you have a computer, data and basic IT knowledge or else....

It's best to leave this issue, do ur own make i do my own pls.
If anyone wants to try it they're free to try.
Let them lock their bootloader, in their recent Xiaomi chinese version phone with global rom installed. Update ota. Until then I rest my case.
As for the correction... No pun intended o... I already know, so I really don't need the correction of unlocked bl to use mi flash tools... ur emphasis on unlocked bl to flash wasn't really my point.

Yes it is dependent on the devs, but overclocking is one of the main reasons why devs make custom kernels. There are safe parameters when overclocking or even down clocking, that is why its good to read about the kernel and have some IT knowledge of what you are doing. I have been overclocking since Samsung S2 days and a member of xda for more than 5yrs, so i have some knowledge.

I use kernel Aduitor to set 2 profiles, one overclocked for games and another underclocked for everyday use and save battery.
