Lagos – Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, a National Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) on Thursday said he did not deliberately stay away from during President Muhammadu Buhari’s projects commissioning in Lagos on Wednesday.

There were insinuations that Tinubu has shunned the event as a payback for the President’s absence at the colloquium organised last month to mark his 67th birthday.

However, speaking with Daily Independent, Tunde Rahman, Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media said his principal missed the event because he is currently out of the country.

” Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is not in town. He is currently out of the country. That was why he was not present at the occasion” he said.

Honestly i dont really see big deal in Tinubu not present at the occasion because I don't think he signed any contract with Buhari to always be wherever Buhari goes and beside surely he might have other issues to attend to which might make it impossible for him to attend.

I just see the Buhari and Tinubu absent on each other important day as just coincidence and not delibrate.

Unless he is critically ill and receiving treatment overseas,if Tinubu had a good relationship with the dullard in chief,he would have travelled down via private jet to be at the Lagos visit and fly back the next day.
Well it's good for them because we are talking of 2 criminals,certificate forgers and election riggers.
The only thing that differentiates Tinubu from Buhari,is that Tinubu is not a bigot and has some level of intelligence.

Buhari left to meet Tinubu in London today. The agenda and appointees that would effect change for the next level for his 2nd term would be discussed in private. People really under-estimate the bond between this two leaders. Just wait and see.

And nothing stops Buhari from meeting with his doctors afterwards.

Tinubu is the leader of APC, yet on his birthday Buhari was absent.

When Tinubu launched at Abuja, Buhari again was absent.

Just for the same Buhari to come to Lagos for Ambode.

The writing is on the wall, Tinubu has been used & dumped AGAIN like in 2015.

It's becoming apparent that the North has no plans to hand over to the South West.

We simply pray that Osinbajo does not have helicopter crashes
