Just the composition of this list alone shows what low achievers black people are.

If an ALL TIME list includes the likes of Tupac in it then one can only surmise that black people are desperately short of real role models.

Where are the black Einsteins? Where are the black Isaac Newtons, Shakespeares, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerbergs, Steve Jobs, Alan Turings, Carl Sagans,Louis Pasteurs, Wright Brothers, Thomas Edison, Tessla, Elon Musk, etc etc?

If a list of most influential White men were to be compiled or influential Asians, it would be far more impressive and make a lot more sense than this joke of a list.
I agree with you. I was shocked to see tupac too

It's either between Martin Luther King or Barack Obama.

Martin Luther King civil rights crude helped end legal segregation against blacks in America.

Barack Obama was the president of the powerful country in the world for 8 years. He helped end the Great Recession that started in 2008 through pump priming and the Fed use of quantitative easing.

One could say he made little or no impact on the world as president(apart from helped ending a recession and usher in a recovery which benefitted other countries).

Now with Trump at the helm, one can feel Obama's impact better by not making decisions rather than stupid, daft and incomprehensible decisions that Trump makes

Go back to your schools from primary to tertiary and collect all school fees and levies back. You were taught nothing, you learnt nothing, in fact you have more knowledge the first day you were born than now. You are a waste to this generation..

No mind kaen1317... I no know whether en dey dream

When MJ died, u know what happened?

Google, wiki and twitter crashed as millions if not billions of people were rushing to confirm his death. This is well-known in history. U can make research on it

Talk of popularity, hardly would u find any man aside Jesus christ and Muhammad who was more popular than MJ, let alone his fellow Musicians.

You mean your forefathers were busy selling themselves into slavery? Because the biggest traders of slaves were black people who were selling their fellow black people as slaves to the Europeans.

datigbogirl:

During these white people's time, our forefathers were busy being shipped into slavery...and those who weren't were being hunted by the image of it.

They are our heroes for bringing us outta bondage that you probably would still have been, had they not taken the bold step.

I would personally pick micho jacko... His influence cut across the world and his name still rings bell even in the ears of New generation. Others like king Jr and Mandela had their influence just within their regions of America and Africa respectively. Tupac existence was short and before his influence would become vasr hr was gone. On and On. But my opinion picks micheal Jackson among the listed names. Obama shouldn't even make the list. What spectacular thing was he known for than being the usa President? Positions others have occupied and will still do. But till today no one has wore the shoe micheal Jackson left behind.
Within the spheres of music, then yes we can argue that.Popularity does not equate influence...in the truest sense of the word even buhari has possesed more influence than mj.

I would have added him to my list but I honestly don’t know his race
If it’s Negro, then he is definitely on my list too
I will study this later
Jah Rastafari Haille sellasie is the lion of the tribe of Judah, a god in human form from the great Kingdom of Ethiopia, the oldest African Republic.
He is a black man and an advocator for the black race.

I think Michael Jackson is still the most influential worldwide. His prominence wasn't on the wings of black guilt. His influence reached across every border and language. Prolly because of d face surgery. But all is fair in love and war.

Dwayne Johnson is a Samoan, so he's black

Being Samoan does not really make one black. His Samoan heritage is from his mother, while his black heritage is from his father, whose parents sided with the British during a war because they were promised their freedom.

How sure are you

Read his bio.
Johnson is half-Black and half-Samoan. His father, Rocky Johnson, is a Black Canadian, and part of the first Black tag team champions in WWE history along with Tony Atlas. His mother is Samoan and the daughter of Peter Maivia, who was also a pro wrestler. Maivia's wife, Lia, was the first female pro wrestling promoter, taking over Polynesian Pacific Pro Wrestling after her husband's death in 1982, until 1988.
